He's about to have his contract bought out by the Bulls.

Well, suppose he's cleared to play next season (of course with some loss of quickness), should we make a run at him since we'll be in need of a backup again.

And if so, for how much???

Make a run for a possible life time cripple? Okay, but do you make him the ball boy or the guy who hands out the gatorade?

some loss of quickness? I highly doubt if he could run at all next year, and if he could ever outrun Mark Jackson again. With only one more year left on his contract, I don't think Bulls would have let him go if there is any more hope.

How far has he progressed? Not that we should try to go after him anyways, but last time I saw an interview with him he was still walking with crutches for short distances and using a wheelchair. From what I saw he'll be lucky to ever walk normally again.

He's already said he and da Bulls have agreed to let him try and make it back with them. He is supposedly at least another season from being ready to try and play competitively, like ''05/'06.

Let's make a run for him, Grant Hill, Antonio McDysse, Anfernee Hardaway, and Alonzo Mourning. That will give us a solid second unit.

Maybe we can talk Ralph Sampson out of retirement.

You don't know how he crashed himself, do you? He is done with his career, most likely.

SF saved Rox organization by saying "We do not need a point guard" on the lottery night.

Imagine the Bulls with Yao, Chandler/Curry(one of em would be traded), Rose, Marshall, Crawford.

In the east, thats some crazy frontcourt

He saved the organization alright but apparently Rockets still need a point guard.

I don't think Kidd will be playing for NJ next season, could be a trade in there somewhere.

I'd like to think that IF Jay Williams was the best available player in that draft, that the Rox would have drafted him and ignored SF.

Yeah, let's lock up Jay Williams ... right after we finish renegotiating that Eddie Griffin contract.

    The Duke curse.

Was Williams ever really a good passing PG?

Yeah, that Duke jinx scares me about Brand. He's already been down a few times.
