I wrote a lengthy letter (that I never mailed) to Rocket's management about Matt Maloney's lack of playing time. I blamed team losses on it.

Would anyone else here have picked Harold Miner over Robert Horry?

    Here are some of mine:
    • I thought Tracy McGrady's return after his last injury would catapult the Rockets to the top of the standings. I was very wrong. They ended 4th that year but Tracy had nothing to do with that.
    • I didn't think too highly of Steph Curry early on. I thought the Rockets could have traded some late picks and a role player for him just to see if he could bring anything to the table.
    • I was angry that we lost Parsons, called for Morey to lose his job.

Didn't post here but the worst was me calling Morey clueless after the Lowry release.
Thought he's ruining the team with constant shuffling of players.
Minor ****ups that I'm constantly doing:
Thought D-Mo, Terrence Jones and Jo Chee will be game changers.
Also was really high on pretty much every second round pick in the past 6 years, especially Kyle Wiltjer

Me and @Von Rafer were literally about to picket and protest at Toyota Center after the MDA signing.

    Thank god we didn't.

Moral of the Story: Don't ever feel bad for being wrong about something in sports unless you lost significant money on it. :D

Everybody in the Summit that day seemed like they would've picked Harold Miner over Robert Horry. Especially the ones throwing stuff. I didn't even know what a "Robert Horry" was.

My worst basketball opinion... Malick Badiane. So much so, that back in the old days of this BBS (well, 2003'ish), I accidentally started a movement whereby people believed he would become the next Hakeem (I mean, he's tall, African, and raw... so much similarity). Snowballs don't have brakes ... this one rolled into something large before it crashed into reality. :(

in hindsight, my only mistake was that I thought Malick Badiane could become a good NBA player. In hindsight's hindsight, he ended up not being able to even spell "NBA player".

It was a mistake to switch out Beverley for Paul. Wanted Thibodeau instead D’Antoni.

Thought all KJ McDaniels was a chance to start and play 25 mpg to be the star Houston needed.

That was never me but those ppl and you know who your our should feel ashamed.

    Ohh

And anyone who thought JLIN was better than harden smh

That Capela at best would be capped at 18 pts a game and 12 rebs for his career. He is on schedule to better himself in both stats at the moment. The enforcement of the freedom to move rule I think helps him.

I tip my cap to him. He works hard to get better.
