On a monthly basis, what do you pay for 1. Car insurance 2. Health insurance 3. Gas Would you prefer to spend the auto costs on public transit instead? Would you prefer more subsidized health coverage for those who do not take any medicines or have health complaints?
Curious... who pays for uninsured motorists? I believe most insurance policies include an uninsured motorist clause, so I guess the answer is... motorists with insurance pays for uninsured motorists. If there wasn't an uninsured motorist clause... insured motorists would pay huge costs should they get hit by an uninsured motorist. Who pays when uninsured people that go to ERs to get health care? I suspect hospitals pass the costs onto everyone else. And since ER medical care costs way more than health care delivered by physicians (especially PM health care that would reduce the need for many ER visits).
