Obrien did a good job, when you consider he had a makeshift offensive line and practice squad wrs. Ryan Griffin is trash and Lamar is getting cut this offseason. He was aggressive with his playcalling today. It's not his fault that Watson couldn't hit Hopkins when he was open on 4th down.
BOB had his most level headed, non confrontational post game press conference in his history. I wonder if his agent told him to be on his best behavior thinking he may be on the hot seat so don't fuel the fire.
In the NBA there are players where they get Did Not Play- Rest. I think #4 needs to look hard into skipping winnable games. It looks like the 17th game worn him out not including the preseason. I can't blame BOB for a QB who can't finish and who spends too much energy pointing first downs.
O’Brien has been here for many years now and what does he have to show for it save two embarrassing wild card home losses and one wild card win against the Raiders?
Our D did pretty good in the second half...sucked in the first...but if our offense...lead by BOB and crap ass Watson, couldn’t score more than 7 in a whole freakin game , someone needs to go. I imagine our “star” QB won’t go...no matter how many passes he threw in the dirt
I wish we could hire Kubiak as our offensive coordinator. No way those two could coexist, though. We have maybe three years of JJ to win him a Super Bowl. That's not gonna happen with this staff. We need a new defensive coordinator too.
The whole rationale for keeping him was that he could build a great offense with a good QB. That turns out not to be the case.
The Cowboys have scored more against the Seahawks defense in one half than the Texans did against the Colts defense all game long.
The reason many of us wanted him fired seasons ago are the same reasons we still want him fired. That’s a problem. Not fixing problems is a problem. Bad at clock management. Bad at challenges. Bad play calling. Bad press conferences. Refuses to get an OC. Bad at game planning. Bad at in game adjustments. Bad at understanding the importance of an o-line. Etc etc.
Each minute that goes by without a statement of confidence from Cal about our head coach coming back next year keeps hope alive.
Or firing BOB isn't even remotely on his radar as a consideration. Cal is a carbon copy of his dad until proven otherwise.
