The smug ******* should be fined for tampering. Get my players name out of your dirty w**** ass mouth, you failed gm, political science wannabe, who's career was built because of Jordan's greatness and Mark Jackson's players.

Don't be fooled, isn't a compliment at any level. It's a shot, a clear shot.

    This is great!

One correction, though: It should be Ernie Johnson. Eddie Johnson is the former Rocket who now thinks Harden needs to get a few more rebounds per game for his defense to be considered anything better than sh!tty.

He was talking about all the illegal screens and jersey-grabbing the Warriors got away with during their "dynasty" years, right?

Jesus, I'm dead serious when I say this, aside from Kenny Smith I really heard their voices when I read this. If I could offer one piece of constructive criticism, I think Kenny would actually say this:

See, the Rockets can't rely on Harden to score 90 points a game in a 7 game series. But, that's what it's going to take to beat the warriors. I just don't see the warriors allowing Harden to score 90 points four times. Two times? Sure, and maybe steph and KD have an off night and Harden only needs to score 50, but are we really going to bank on that if I'm Daryl Morey and the Rockets?

Kerr damning with faint praise. Like previously said, SMUG A$$ COMMENT

    - asked if James Harden’s run is “Jordan-esque”: “It’s Harden-esque...We're seeing the very best of James Harden doing what he does, shooting his stepback three, getting fouled - just been on a huge run. It's been amazing."

Kerr: Not Jordan-esque which was pure.....it is cheat Harden-esque LOOKING FOR FOULS.

That is wha Kerr is saying.

    Exactly.

Kerr says: "It’s Harden-esque...We're seeing the very best of James Harden doing what he does, shooting his stepback three, getting fouled - just been on a huge run. It's been amazing."

Kerr knows people will hear: "Harden's game pretty much consists of getting fouled."

These comments are Kerr-esque. We're hearing the best of what Kerr does.

Which means that it is whining, petty, smug and insincere

If beard was more violent, I'd hope Kerr would be up for comparing punches.

Harden for the past 3-4 seasons has generally been better than Kobe ever was.

... Kobe, while obviously a great player, is the single most overrated player of my lifetime. Even ahead of Russell Westbrook.

Give Harden a prime Shaq and watch how many titles he wins, without running him off to Miami.

Ya know, I don't expect Kerr to rattle off all of the ways James Harden is dominating on offense. But I say, let's just own the fouls thing. Other people talk about it derisively, but it's an easy argument to shoot down. The guy gets fouled a lot. But not Manu Ginobli and Derek Fisher flop fouls. And not Kevin "we had to make a rule to stop you from pulling your arms through a defender" Durant fouls. Fouls on a drive to the basket. Or from behind the arc, where fouls are easy to see if you don't have League-mandated blinders on. I'm not saying a certain percentage aren't embellished, but the percentage that don't even get called at all is easily bigger than that.

But let's take it further. It's actually a pretty damn smart, high IQ thing to do. It's a way of stabilizing high-powered scoring night in and night out instead of having to rely on spikes all over the place. Harden doesn't need to be hot from three every night or have excellent assists to him every night. He can manuever and maintain control of the ball long enough that he can straight up challenge defenders and force them to attempt to stop him, usually resulting in them fouling him. If it was so damn easy to do his and rack up that many free throws a game, EVERYBODY would be doing it by now. They fact is that they can't.

I'm not going to take the opinion of someone who:

    1. helped Robert Sarver acquire the Phoenix Suns in 2006
    2. got the Suns GM gig (most likely due to #1)
    a. idiotically traded Shawn Marion for an aging Shaquille O'Neal in 2008
    b. traded for Jason Richardson, who reportedly smashed Steve Nash's wife, ending a marriage
    3. helped put one once great franchise into the gutter because of #1 and #2
    4. probably had an agreement with the man who made his professional basketball career exist at all (Phil Jackson) to coach for the Knicks only to take the Warriors job rightafter Mark Jackson got fired
    5. coaching ability should be resoundingly questioned due to his team going 19-0 under Luke Walton when he left for health reasons

very highly because, y'know, the guy's a douche
