I'm not sure that's entirely accurate. Harden regularly finishes thru contact near the rim. He'd be able to play with those guys from the 90s for sure. And if he could hand check he'd be a far better defender. Also, AI is in no way in the same league as Harden. Great player, but Harden is at a different gear with all the assists and high efficiency.

Harden game is tenaciously efficiency on the offense. His FG % is 44.5% but it’s because he shoots so many 3 pointers, about 11.5 per game I seem to remember. And he is hitting 3 pointers at 38.5% which is pretty dang good! When 33.3% is equivalent to hitting 50% from inside the arc.

Guys can’t stop him without fouling him. And haters need to fill up their hate with grasping at straws when attacking his game (hence FT and old defensive lapses)... Plus Harden has proven to be effective even when the NBA changes rules to slow down his game, but merely affect the rest of the league because Harden can simply adjust to the rules in place like a camaleón.

Harden isn’t showy. He is effective and he gets wins! But a lot of people got enamorated with Jordan’s grace and eloquence. MJ had the total package, defense, offense, and a graceful game.

But other than Kobe few guys have displayed a basketball game near MJ. However when bozo’s attack Harden for not being Jordanesque, it’s lunacy.

It's not the attacking him for not being Jordanesque, it's the homer comparisons you're starting to see on the boards. Harden would kill it in the 90s too and he's on his way to b2b MVP's and should have been MVP 2 other times in my opinion, if not, at least the one over triple doubles. Dude's putting a body of work that could rival Kobe for #2 SG of all time but people act like he's not even top 50 SG of all time. Give him prime Shaq and see how many rings Harden gets.
