So your notion that you're sure the doctor followed their training "and whatever" by treating a cold with antibiotics is what?

Did you just say "Facts not in evidence" in response to a hypothetical? That's brilliant, thanks for contributing.

It is an opinion based in observations.

Right. I was hoping some kids would die around Christmas time so I could run to ClutchFans and claim authorities that take people into custody are responsible for their care and then have a clown car empty out with all kinds of claims of child abuse and other nonsense.

    What observation?

I wonder what care the child would have gotten if they hadn't been picked up after illegally entering the country...

The only chance this kid had was the care he got before his father refused further treatment. The father put the kid in danger and then signed his death warrant by not allowing further medical care for the kid. Again, he belongs in prison for child abuse.

There's no hypothetical. You just spent four pages blaming the parents of a child who died in federal custody for child abuse. You've also spent years spewing revolting nonsense all the way back to Trayvon Martin. Your behavior is revolting.

I'm just going to put you back ignore and let other people enjoy the honor of your humble remarks.

The fact that the kid was given medical care and treatment beyond that of a cold. This suggests the doctor saw symptoms that warranted such a precaution.

Add me too if it makes you feel superior. The rest of us can laugh at you and Decker at the same time.

I don't think you were sitting there hoping for it, to be fair.

Do we know any more facts about the cause of death? So far, I haven't seen anything in this thread that would allow me to conclude that either the detention or the father did anything that caused the child's death. (yes, I read the part about refusing treatment but I don't know the circumstances at that time or whether it is cya bs).
This might be fair "ammo" for criticizing the detention or maybe even the parent's decision but without more information, it is just a tragic death that may have happened irrespectively.

I would guess that American personnel are saving many lives in similar situations without any press coverage.

    You would "guess"?

I think secretary nielsen has been asked for precise numbers of people being held... which she was unable to provide. It would be great if she provided those numbers, along with a number of people ill, and the number of people that have died since being apprehended.

The detention center took this kid to a hospital. She was released.

The authorities tried to help both kids. I am not down with anti immigration rhetoric or actions but the authorities tried to help these kids.

The authorities readily admit their facilities were only built for men

    https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/26/us/cbp-timeline-guatemala-boy-dies/index.html

Based on the CNN account it doesn't seem like CBP did anything wrong. The kid just died from some illness. The hospital might have misdiagnosed him, but it doesn't sound like negligence on CBP part if the account CNN provided is accurate. They were fed. They were taken to the hospital.

Hot meals and medical attention seems better than what some poor Americans get.

Literally what you were responding to was a hypothetical, if you didn't get that, I suggest you attempt to re-read what you responded to.

That said, yes, I blame the parents who put their children in danger that led to their death. I think putting a child in that situation is child abuse and those parents should be locked up for it. I understand why you want to excuse child abuse for political reasons, but I can't accept it.

Do we just accept people make it here. Are people dying on there way here and if so how many? I really dont know

The border is safer and that happened under Obama but i really couldn't say what the most effective measures were other than maybe just updated thinking.

There are so many things i find ridiculous about negative opinions of Hispanic immigrants. I understand with some people its jobs and that's fair but all the crime talk is so over the top and exaggerated i cant.believe people believe it. Why would criminals come here to face quite frankly better law enforcement. They run **** there. Whole towns

i cannot even prove no death happened in my sons middle school accross the street...but i guess there is no death among 1000 students in his school. no death proof is hard to obtain and wierd to be asked for...

i also cannot prove the dead boy was alive in "hell" for 8 years before he was taken care of by the workers from heaven and died in the ICE love in no time. i wish i could be as brainles as you.
