He's worth acquiring because he's good and he's left handed. Period. The reason Harden is so great and still improving is because he's a lefty who opened a whole new dimension in his game getting better with his right hand/going to his right side. Left handed players will always have an advantage because a right hander will never be able to be as good with their left/going left, and will always be harder to defend. That's why nobody before Harden has been as offensively gifted, and that's why no one ever will... Unless they're naturally left handed. We use more of the creative side of the brain than right handers are able to. My point is, the more the merrier. Don't @ me.

    Morey LOVES left handers....

Harden & Capela are both left handed.

That extra 2-3" makes a big difference. My former girlfriends said the same thing, grinning the entire time. Basketball fans, every one of them.

I notice the left handers are far worse shooters though. If Harden was right handed, he'd probably be a 40%+ three-point shooter.

the 7'3 wingspans of ariza and luc are actually really hard to replace. aminu beats them by an inch, james johnson, mo harkless, and DeMarre carroll all come up an inch or so short (based on my memory when looking this up). we can't just chase the longest arms out there, we also have to: a) get a player who can shoot, b) on a contract that doesn't destroy the cap, c) on a team willing to accept knight/FRP for that player.

the nets want cap space, the blazers value talent more than picks, and james johnson's contract is worse than bazemore's while riley is probably asking for more in return than the hawks.

bazemore has excellent length for his hight and that's what makes him a great defender at the 2-3. however, his length is average for the 3-4. i think we'd all agree he's an upgrade at SF on both ends. so if his contract doesn't kill the cap and the hawks don't ask for more than kight/FRP then why not?

my only greivance is that over the summer the hawks wanted a FRP and melton to swap ryno for bazemore. if morey is willing to trade knight/FRP for bazemore now, why didn't we just take their offer over the summer and start the season with him? we would've been a few games getter at this point.

Atlanta wants two 1st round picks.

This is after the Rockets gave up Melton to break up the Anderson contract.

So the final cost to move Anderson would be: Two first round picks, the rights to Melton AND still having to pay Bazemore this season and next.

Someone, at some point has to blink.... will it be the Rockets or another team, IDK.

Russ W'brook is a lefty. Plays righty. Steals RBs ambidextrously.

I'd do it for a heavily protected frp, reverting to second round in 2021.

I'd just sit on Knight and hope he can play some minutes in March and then establish him as a valuable player AND expiring next year.
