According to the people that made it as long as it isn't monetized Lucasfilm gave them the green light to make their series.
Star Wars fans have made some really cool stuff. Don't have a link handy, but one fellow took the 1st film, Star Wars, and edited it to include Han shooting the debt collector in the bar first, changing the color of the light sabers to the original colors, and a host of other things, including the music, and did an incredible job. In other words, he got rid of the numerous stupid edits Lucas had made. I think he got a lot of it from a laserdisc, the VHS version being funky, of course (which I have, of course - never got a laserdisc player). Lucas withdrew the original from sale. I've seen it and watch it from time to time, because it's pure (@tinman). Don't know if he's done The Empire Strikes Back yet. I need to look into that. I'll certainly check out what you posted, KC. Thanks!

Well done. I admit I was a bit distracted by Palpatine's $30 JC Penney's dress shoes that they kept zooming in on.
Didn't like the story. Vader wants to betray Palpatine and Palpatine knows it. The Sith are really paranoid, which means that Palpatine should have killed Vader then and there.
I saw it as Palpatine thinking he could use that hate to manipulate Vader even more. Which is what he's been doing from the get-go. I liked the story. Funny, I clicked on YouTube so I could subscribe to this channel and realized that I was already subscribed. When will E2 be ready I wonder?
