Uh yea. On a team with the worst scoring bench in the NBA, im sure we could use a extra 13-15 pts a game. Who's giving us that now? Gary Clarke?

Morey is not aggressive enough to deal Melo. It is not good.

Melo was thinking like me.....you brought me in to be a spot up shooter? W....T.....F?

Ty Lawson all over again. Why the hell not bring in a decent spot up shooter from G-league or rookie
who is more mobile defensively, for that? Enter Gary Clark.....both sides part. Rest is history.

I don’t think CP3 sold Melo on coming to Houston to be a spot up shooter. Onus was on Houston.

You can think Melo a loser.....but I see Houston screwing the pooch more on that deal.

If Melo is as bad as everyone says.....waive his butt. No fear of him coming back to hurt us.

Or maybe the Rockets/Morey fear Melo going to a contender and haunting us with some post up action....which
is what I said the Rockets should have been doing.

Rockets can trade Melo to a loser, but chances are that team will waive Melo and he goes to the Lakers/Warriors.
Haunting the Rockets with our rivals. Rockets only win by keeping Melo under contract all season, but then
Melo occupies a roster spot all season. Melo/LeBron people are leaking all this noise to pressure Houston
to move Melo one way or another.

No, it doesnt work like that. Our offense has been WAY better since he left.. what does that tell you? We do need more bench scoring but not at the price of efficiency or we go back to more losing streaks which we cant afford and our defense will get worse with Melo as well. Morey needs to put in some work and find guys who can play D and hit open shots. The fact that we still need to explain why Melo isnt a good fit and didnt work out blows my mind. This board blows my mind sometimes, stuff can happen right in front of you guys face and you still dont see it.

Because you may be able to get something useful for him. **** if GM's thought like some of the people here we would get a solid player and a 2nd round pick for him lol

Melo’s contract is now guaranteed at about $2.4M. Any team trading for him is probably cutting him like Suns cut Austin Rivers. Just a filler contract to make numbers work.

If that team thinks he will put out and actually play after walking out on Houston.....then they are stupid. How do you
make a horse drink? You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink. You do know
how much money Melo receives from Hawks and Rockets combined don’t you?
He can continue sitting until said team that traded for him buys him out of waives him. Contract is easily waive-able.

Lakers can wait and just like the Rockets could wait until the Knicks/Melo split occurred.....get him for nothing. Knicks traded. Melo to the Thunder, but Melo had to ok it. I seriously doubt Lakers send
anyone for Melo and his minimal contract.
Teams would rather just wait.....league knows Melo/Rockets have to split eventually.

Yea I can tell you don't watch many games. We're scoring better because our best players are playing ALOT better. Our struggles had nothing to do with Melo, defensively or offensively. At the time he left he was playin better than Eric Gordon, and he's still playin better than Eric Gordon.

Yeah, you are not listening to me.

    1) Rockets didn’t use him right. His post up game is top notch and was netting 73.7% in FG% when run.
Wasnt run enough. Analytics say if a play is netting you a 74% FG%.....run the d***n play.

    2) when Melo sat after the 10th game...sickness was the excuse given, but players around the league said Melo
was not the reason the Rockets were struggling. Wade, LeBron, others came to his defense. Former players
like McGrady, Barkley and Shaq said he should just retire. Most CF’s here blamed him. Sports shows and
sports forums are saying he is trash and washed up.

    3) Rockets players probably accept Melo back, but will D’Antoni? Is Bzdelik on board? The water might be mucked
up too much for a return. Melo came here to help......not be blamed for all the problems the Rockets were
experiencing, such as: poor 3-point shooting of Green/CP3/Gordon, injuries, suspensions, etc, etc.

4). Rockets shoot: @ the rim........FT’s.........3-pointers. Melo was told no mid-range shots. So iso gives him
mostly mid-range shots because he can’t get to the rim like he use to. And if the Rockets don’t run post up plays
for him....then they basically brought him to Houston to be a spot up shooter. I’m sure that’s not what he signed
up for. With his friend LeBron, which probably called each other every other day, whispering in his ear that he
should have picked the Lakers. He could promise Melo post up plays if he got away from Houston and joined
him in L.A. Melo probably bailed on the Rockets with all the blame game coming from fans. Somebody
poisoned the water well-move on type of thing. Lakers don’t mind his mid range shot as much either.
LeBron is salivating at the thought of Melo getting some “Mouse in the House” switching post up plays,
with the defense focused on helping; which allows Ingram/Kuzma/LeBron some backdoor/weakside cutting
action. Fantastic lobs that energize the fans and players.

Most of the league don’t thing Melo has anything left......or don’t have the cutters to get over the rim or attack the
basket like LeBron/Kuzma/Ingram/Durant/Draymond/Klay/*Curry (sneaks to rim for layups). Melo was hoping the
#1 seed Rockets of last year could carry him......now he is looking for the Warriors with Durant or most likely LeBron
with the Lakers. I believe Melo has a home in L.A..

Good luck trying to change his mind about coming back to the Rockets this season......not happening.

Good points. Melo did help the Rockets to win some games, but the OKC disaster was the final straw.
He certainly can play on a contender in a limited role, but unfortunately the Rockets can't get anything of value for him, not even a bag of chips.
