I just get home and *this* is what I get to read?

The Trump Administration is a traveling horsesh!t show.

Funny how this happened so closely to his Syria distraction gambit.

This was the departure that scared the most people including myself. There’s no power like the power of the military. Trump has no idea what kind of toy he has in it. Mattis had the ability the first two years to insulate the military from Trumps chaos. Expect that to change quick.

I also think it’s an unseen guardrail that could potentially bite Trump back and end his presidency. If all the Generals banned together and decided to stand against this president, what would happen? I’m not talking about a violent coup but a political one. Order the military to defy orders and stand down. Force the pentagon into essentially a strike. Would that create enough pressure for the Senate to ask the House to impeach and remove Trump?

Not saying it’s likely but it’s just something we maybe need to think about if Trump does to the military what he does to everything else he gets his hands on.

Needless to say Mattis getting fired means the awesome power of the US military is now a potential political play thing for our 8 year old commander in chief, and that should freak everyone out. Especially after Mattis’ parting words were clearly a signal to the US that this president is blowing up the post WW2 alliances and thrusting the globe into another age of authoritarian dominance and he wanted no part of it.

Mulvaney or Sanders, and then the man himself.

Even if they can't impeach the guy, section 4 of the 25th ammendment is sounding really good right now.

It's as bad as many feared/predicted it would be. And, honestly, it isn't much different from how Trump managed/ran his casinos into the ground. The GOP pursuit of one-party rule won't mean much if, after Trump finishes working his magic, all they have left to rule is ruins.

And to think, Trump is just barely working through Putin's wish list...
