It's the hammy and a different mindset but you have to hope this mindset has to stay during all 82 games and all the playoff games.
I get that about Giannis and possibly Kawhi but solely 30 somewhat games are played. There are enough games to turn this around. You have to get to the highest pedestal in the league, not just some regular season award.
I need the media to get me the stats as a fan, and I listen to some of the takes but their voices do not matter at the end of the day.
It doesn't help with prominent ex-Rockets like Barkley and McGrady taking pot shots at Harden and the Rockets whenever they can. This morning on the SAS show Barkley was running his mouth when asked about the Rockets. He said there is no way they can catch up to and compete with the Warriors with their current style of play. Best we could hope for in his opinion would be to make it to playoffs and get knocked out in first or second round. As if all the credit for us winning should be given to Chris Paul who has never won anything. I think we broke his playoff psyche that year when he was with LAC when we game back and took the series against him with the team that had Josh Smith and others playing at another level that particular game. If we continue to dig ourselves out of the hole and get in the playoffs nobody is going to want to play us. Not the version of us that has been on the floor the last couple of weeks. Harden just needs to keep doing his thing and SAS and Kellerman will come around. They both speak out of both sides of their mouth and tend to jump on the bandwagon when the time is right. This years team could end up being more dangerous than last years team. We are not going to win 65 regular season games but is the supporting cast for Harden, namely Paul, Gordon, Green- House, and Tucker hit their open shots we are capable of having many nights like last night where even Eric Gordon was having fun.

Yeah, I agree. I just think right now Giannis is the frontrunner for the award and rightfully so. I give him the edge over Kawhi because Kawhi's missing games left and right. But you know I feel even if the Rockets finish with the #1 seed Harden still won't get it. They do like to spread it around and go with a narrative, this year Giannis or Kawhi will win it, definitely. They'll bring up Curry and Lebron every now and then to make it seem competitive but it's between Giannis and Kawhi.
Harden should go play for the Lakers, then he'd get much more credit when the location based media defend him on BSPN.
nah he's still gonna get bashed. Harden signing the Adidas 13 years deal meant that he will be a villain in the media for the rest of his career
People are crazy if they would take Giannis over Harden. Giannis can be stopped. He's nothing more than a slasher. Yeah, he's a very good player, but he can't shoot to save his life.
Harden's gonna get killed by the media tomorrow. They don't even treat him like a human being sometimes. That just goes to show you how many Harden haters there are and 90% of them are Laker "fans" who suddenly popped out of the woodworks just because they became relevant again.
