I know there are like one or two of you here.

Anyway, the band basically has a new album out, except the band is now called Burden Brothers. Todd Lewis (Toadies singer) is the singer. I believe he wrote all the Toadies' songs anyway. Now he's teamed up with the drummer from the Rev. Horton Heat and Izzy Stradlin's JuJu Hounds, I think. I knew they had some songs out on the web and for sale on their website, but didn't realize they actually had an album in stores, until I saw it in Best Buy this weekend and immediately picked it up. I really can't think of a better rock vocalist out there than TL. This guy should be a star.

Hasn't that Burden Brothers album been out like a year? I like it, but not as much as the last Toadies album.

Sweet, I'll have to pick it up.

BTW, my buddy checked out The Killer Grins first show up in Dallas this past weekend. He said they rock out much harder than ZMB ever did. People were moshing and what not. He said they were badass.

Nothing I love more than hating on Dallas.....but they've had some pretty cool bands.

I cant think of a better live act than the Toadies. I first crowd surfed at a show that had the Reverend Horton Heat, Toadies, and the Butthole Surfers at the Westpark Arena or something like that. Ive seen them probably 6 times or so and the Toadies always put on an AWESOME show.

When I think of Dallas bands I think of style over substance. Oh well that was like 10 years ago. I did get arrested at a Brutal Juice show though, they rock.

Saw one of the last Toadies shows in Austin last year. They were incredible. Saw Burden Brothers open up for Jane's Addiction a few months back. They were eh, ok.
