The right "font choice" makes a big difference. And in fact the "font" was the one thing Fertitta specifically mentioned as an element up for change with a new uniform.
As underwhelming as it is, that is the best design this team has seen in a quarter century. And yet, you wouldn’t know that based on the feedback on this board.
It says a lot that a plain jersey with checkers half cut off, number and letter fonts that have nothing creative or character while not matching at all with just red in it has actual fans believing it looks good. Guess that just shows you how awful the rest has been.
or it could just mean your own personal preference doesn't go along with it. if that's the case, that sounds more like a you issue
It's....fine. Just a little annoyed they do whatever they can to avoid our roots with yellow/gold. Crimson? Might as well have done black for blacks sake again.
These look nice. If our uniforms were this and the black one I’d have little to complain about in that regard. Should be a pretty easy switch to go ahead and ditch the white and red. Still think the logo is lame.
I really like the Pacers, Heat and Sixers sets, but the rest are uninspiring. Cleveland's is fine too i suppose. BTW are these all just xmas game jerseys? Just 1 off uniform sets? Or will they be allowed to wear them many times like the black sets of ours?
I like the look in general because I like minimalist jersey designs. While the logo won't change anytime soon, I do really think the team needs a new alternative color. Too many teams already use a red primary color, and most use black or yellow as their alternate color. It is just so repetitive and doesn't help the jersey's really stand out from the crowd at all.
