EG brings up an excellent point, when do we reach the point of no return? What I mean to say, what day/game/issue makes it so that this season is set and we can't do anything to change our trajectory? I keep hearing it's early, it's early... eventually, it won't be early anymore.
Players are no GMs, they would fight till the end even on a sinking ship. They dun think about Zion or a Top 3 pick. Owner and GM should make that call if it's going to be mediocre.
It's getting late early. (Not that I really have any expectations for this team the rest of the season. Hello again mediocrity treadmill.)
How would Eric Gordon to MIL for Middleton and Brogdan work? Bc Middleton is more of a 3, and Brogdan would be a solid 3rd guard behind CP3.
Two of Knight, Gordon, and Nene have to go. That's 30 million in salary that doesn't contribute at all outside from a decent game from Gordon. If you trade for Kanter, Vucevic, or Lopez, as a backup C, and get Ariza on a buyout roster might be close to being fixed.
I hope that we start Ego, put Ennis in the bench/luc role and trade for bench depth. I have faith in that starting 5 and CP3rd option works better. GORDON is 2nd best offensive player on team
We would have been in a lot more trouble had we kept Luc and not signed Ennis. That’s just a fact that can’t be disputed.
Yea that is the absolute truth. Man, I really really loved Luc, if he was healthy he was absolutely worth 10 mil imo for the value he brought. His defense was that good and his offense was really blossoming under us. His injury really saddens me, if had had been healthy, we would have won with or without Iggy.
You think so eh? I’m not sure any role player could have made us play any better last year. I feel it came down to if we had CP3 healthy we would have won; without we lose.
