Nah. Defense, while not stellar, was pretty good. Sack, INT, some good stops. Offense has mainly laid an egg.
Not really, he held an elite QB to 24 which is below their season average....would only be 21 if not for BOB calling a timeout to help them get a FG before the half. On the other hand, the offense has 14 points against a defense that allows over 23 points per game.
Watson holding on to the ball too long is probably his biggest weakness right now. He has GOT to get better at that.
Romeo cannot make the DBs cover people (which they sucked at), but he can sure as hell put them in better position to do so (which he sucked at).
In this game it's been holding the ball too long, starring down receivers, and not passing the ball accurately. I do love that we're still running the f'n ball down 2 possessions with 4 minutes left in the game. Atta boy BOB
Watson has been terrible today, but he has virtually no protection. The few times he does have a clean pocket is when they run play action or misdirection.
Not really, most of it is on Watson not diagnosing the blitz properly and holding on to the ball too long.
