1/26 Miami Rox/B 2 B road 1/28 Sac home 1/31 NJ home 2/2 Phnx road 2/4 Milw home 2/6 Chi home 2/7 Atl Rox, Hawks/B 2 B road 2/9 LA LA/B 2 B home 2/11 SA home What, 6, maybe 7 wins by ASG break? 34 W's would be a great Houston-like number!
6-7 pretty reasonable now I dunno if we'll win against all the crappy teams but out of sac, la , and san antonio I think 1-2 wins possible out of that group with 4-5 more out of the crappy team group
Why dont you go lok at the past schedule before you continue spreading this myth. True, they had a thing for losing to real bad teasm last year...but if you look at who we have lost to this year...you will see more good teams we have lost to than bad. From the beginning of the season.(with margin of loss beside it) Grizz (8) Mavs (11) Raptors (4) Blazers (7) Jazz (7) Kings (29) Sonics (7) Spurs X2 (4) and (13) TWolves (17) Suns (15) Pacers (8) Nuggets (1) Sonics (1) Pistons (19) Celtics (4) Grizz (5) Now...earlier in the season, there were several we should have won. But look at our record this month... we have only lost 3 times this month...we are 9-3 Thise losses were to the PIstons, Celts, and Grizz the Pistons arent that bad of a team...the Celts arent that good..and the GRizz are surprisingly good this year. The only really bad team we have lost to this year is the Jazz...who were on a roll at the same time we were sucking it up...so there is one for sure that we sjhould not have lost. Unlike last year where we were losing to the rank bad teams...Heat, Magic, Cleveland, Clippers and the like..
The recently beat the VAUNTED KINGs and I think even Denver So I think the loss to them is not a bad as it looked at 1st Rocket River
It's kinda a split decision in my eyes...the first loss against the Grizz...I didnt think we played very hard...but in the second one from a week or so back, it was a good, hard played game...and we just couldnt keep up with the fresh legs of Hubies long rotation.. Hopefully, the Rockets keep improving like they have been and we take em in the last two games of the series. Say what you want about how they used to be...but Hubie and the Logo have done a helluva job turning around that team.
DR, I am aware of that... That is why when I discuss how the Rockets can do or will do in the future...I dont normally look back too far....looking at how they have done in the past month is a good indicator because that is when we really started to see things coming around. and if you notice, I normally always make reference to how much better it will get once they fully get things going the right way.. I believe that what we have been seeing for the past couple of weeks is a team that is finally starting to believe in what they are doing...and really starting to trust each other. They have nowhere to go but up at this point. If they can play the way they have without good shooting from our guards(which we need in the worst way)...just imagine what will happen once they get their shots going again. and make no mistake.....they will break out of their slumps..they are too good of shooters to continue bricking over half of their shots all season.
The Rox lost their legs and the 1st game on this sked. Next they play Sac, which has been off since Sunday, while the game will be Rox third in 4 days. More fatigue. 6, maybe 7 may be tres optimisic.
Shaq - Yao just before ASG break? I expect Shaq will be sending, or trying to at least, a message to 'the world'. It will add spice to a spicy rivalry.
