I wasn't going to respond but glad both agree that to this point that the season absolutely SUCKS. I think we should put together a team of all the players we've exiled to the Clippers and other dregs across the league that beat us like yard dogs every time they play us....Montrezl and others I'm looking at you.

This was horrible to watch. Our offense is nothing more than a half-court, And-1 Mixtape Tour, because we don't play much defense, so we're always taking the ball out of the net and walking it up. Can MDA talk Steve Nash into coming back, to back-up CP3? So frustrating: when we concentrate on defense, we can rout the Warriors. And then... this.

I've been a Rockets fan since the franchise moved to Houston, so I've endured some mediocrity, but never such a disappointing early season.

Morey needs to keep his first round picks. They look like they will be valuable.

Christ, with extra rest we have a 4 man rotation? could you imagine if we practiced, we'd be taken out with stretchers after the first quarter

    I also confuse this.

    It seems we hardly practice.

What the hell are we doing?

Then stop watching. What kind of an idiot laughs when his team is down like this.

It's usually a failing proposition to try and get players who have not been good over multiple years and/or multiple situations and aren't like <24-25 to suddenly become something totally new.

People keep hating on MCW, but the guy is just being exactly who he has been, a bad and negative player. That was the realistic expectation for him, the solid role player expectation would have been a huge surprise and the exception.

There's nothing wrong with going after long shot players, it's only a problem when you get them as potential second string or rotation guys. You generally want to solidify your second string with players who have at least proven they can do the things you are asking for them. That was the issue the Rockets ended up with going into the season, there were a lot of "if this and if that and if the other" guys signed without having alternative solid options. This meant that if those guys didn't pan out, there was no fall back.

That's a dangerous game to play.

Bench is trash and if Paul is going to keep sitting out let’s just make up injuries for Harden ala David Robinson and tank for that third star player.

Yes, absolutely. He IS hurting us right now...BADLY. W/o Jimmy we would have nothing...that's when you would see worse times. The whole idea with CP3 was to not run Jimmy into the ground. How's that working out ? And, right again, even if playing up to his contract, he sponged up the money to add GOOD pieces.

Well we just lost to a team trying to shed payroll and gather assets. How about Markieff Morris starting at PF and getting the back up center minutes so that Tucker can get some minutes at SF and PF.

How about Satoransky to play back up point guard? I know we haven’t had a back up point guard in years but with Paul missing games and limited minutes, someone like Satoransky makes a big difference. He is also tall and long which helps our switches.

At this point even Jeff Green is an improvement over crackhead House playing 30 minutes.

All those players are available at a really limited cost.... but instead our GM has fantasies of Mike C or other star players becoming available.
