Harden may leave next summer (if the team doesn't even make the playoffs), so you might get your wish about wanting him gone.

LOL. What a JOKE that game was. Destroyed on the boards. Don't want to hear it was a B2B. Cavs had the same B2B. Rockets just were flat.

We are at a point were even against the worst teams the Rockets CANT sit Harden or Paul. They BOTH have to play for this team to win. No bench depth to help. No 3rd star to help. Team is a *house of cards* out there when if a player is out, it all falls.

Great game from Harden (aside from the TOs) and Gordon's best game of the season and they are wasted.

Last year's Rockets team doesn't let that Detroit game slip away. Last year's Rockets team wins that Cleveland game.

 

This stat is just incredible. I would LOVE to see a REAL breakdown on all the levels of where the rebounding is failing.

 

THIS. It is all fine and dandy to want to "keep the powder dry" on your trade assets for a BIG addition. But the ship is taking on water....FAST. At some point there is going to be a threshold where you have taken on too much water.

Yes....ideally it if Morey could *add depth* AND *add a 3rd star* that would be great. But right now, it isn't in the cards. Maybe Morey can add add depth for now and then hope those players ALSO retain value to be flippable AGAIN for a 3rd star. I don't know.

Like @Nook said, the issues were there in the summer. And they are still here now.

Rockets have only ONE real bench player in Eric Gordon. And Ennis should be a bench player himself. So I guess 2 bench players and a missing starter at SF. No backup PG. No backup VET wing. No playable backup 4/5.

Clark, Green, Hartenstein are FRINGE rotation players. Nene, while I love him, is old and can't be counted on.
MCW, Chriss are garbage. BK is hurt. Zhou is a mystery taking up a roster spot.

 

I don't want him gone, I want him to play Better.

I guess what I am saying is last year's Rockets had a bit more intestinal fortitude. They overcame adversity better.

 

You do realise he's averaging 30 points and 8 assists a game this season? And he's playing in a struggling team.

Seems to me you're placing the blame solely on him.

 

Ive been saying this for months now. You just get flamed for saying anything constructive. It's better to say that Clark and Ennis will be all stars this year than to say they arent good enough and we need more.

they were more locked in every game fighting for every win. meanwhile, immediately after last night's loss cp3 was smiling and laughing, giggles all around. i was like wtf we just lost to the worst team in the league and are back at .500

then again he did pocket $500k to just sit and rest so maybe he should be happy

 

I think this where it is. I remember in an article(I think it was about Jeff and our defense?) they were saying that defensive rebounds were incredibly important. It feels like we play okay-good defense on initial possession(well not last night) and than we get hammered on the boards.

Apparently not only were we last in defensive rebounding possessions we were playing the two best teams at offensively rebounding back to back. Man, we have to get better on the boards. I'd like to see the rebounding numbers for Trevor and Luc, though that probably wont tell the whole story.

 

lol what ? What do you expect when there are only 3 people on this team that can create their own shot( 2 last night).

Harden is one of the best passers in the league with some of the best handles in the league, if hes struggling that much he needs more help. Even the cavs showed they have multiple scrubs who can make an unassisted shot

 

this one of the least athletic professional sports team ever dont expect them to be out here out rebounding anyone lol
