Any rumors of us getting a true big man? Anyone know?

 

Next 3 games: Washington in Washington who have beat pelicans and clippers at home recently and are much better at home, at home again Dallas who just beat Celtics, beat warriors, crushed jazz in last 4 games, and at San Antonio, schedule isn’t much easier. It’s literally impossible for schedule to be any easier remainder of season if u can’t beat teams like Cavs and pistons

 

Could easy be 9-12

 

18 games is a sufficient enough of a sample size to safely say. It is 2015-2016 all over again with one important difference. No D12 coming off the books and no $35 million to spend on free agents this offseason. Sky sure looks dark.

 

Which might put us at 14th seed in west. I still say we win all 3 if Chris Paul plays, but there’s no such thing as easy game for this team

 

Without a healthy CP3, this team is at best a .500 team in this year's west with EG playing so poorly.

Too bad CP3 will never be consistently healthy, he's been injury prone for years now and that's why I was against paying him 40mil/year.

We're pretty much ****ed because our window is "now" and we've gone backwards this year. Starting next year, I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing serious declines to CP3 and our older role players.

 

Haha don’t we have nene for two more years? .... we literally will only have room for vet minimums and mid level exceptions for next 3-4 years

 

Technically I guess you are right. 9-9. They are not in the list of bad teams. But, They sure as hell are not on the list of good teams. They are spectacularly average. First round fodder.

 

A lot of the bench is done after this season. But no Big salaries

Nene, tucker and Chris Paul for 3 more years, all are 33 I think. Man that’s scary

 

Think we signed ne for 3 years. I thought Cod said there was some hubbub with his age and our ability to sign him for 4 years so we (and he) had to settle for 3. No matter.

 

We have to get younger if we are going to convince Harden to re up in 2 seasons.

Paul I could live with. But not long contracts to older role players

 

Yeah, losing to Kyrie-less / Bron-less cavs is a low point for sure.

Yea it certainly feels and looks that way.
So maybe Dwight wasn’t all the problem. Who is Harden gonna Blame it on this season.

And you can bet teams will try to poach ennis and clark. The rockets have to rely on late draft picks and one mle signing to get drasticallly better for the next few years with our star players aging.
