*MDA too busy playing mobile game on his phone*
MDA: What? Yeah, sure!
CP3: Uhh ok... tell James to come back?
*MDA still playing some mobile game*
MDA: Nah, just go do your thing man. Going for a new high score here!
*CP3 checks in*
Beard: Why you coming in, Chris?
CP3: I asked coach and he said yeah.
Beard: Are you... coming in for me?
CP3: Nah man, nah. Coach wants to new high score.
Beard: Alright.

Me: GET THEM THE **** OUT COACH!!!!

60-win season still possible.

 

Man, the Kings run the floor like crazy... no way they'll be able to keep that up all season. I was exhausted just watching them.

 

Me too. I think of them as being the Rockets Jr..

 

Its more me respecting you for wanting to see Chris's and MCW play haha.

 

Heeeeyyyyyyy, we are officially in the playoffs...we are in the eight place in the West.

 

We took care of business at home--great win!
Two things important in this win...
- Capela really did some nice things tonight. His work on the offensive boards early was important and he has become a much more consistent defensive rebounder. That spin move on the baseline was sick, if he could have just finished. 5 blocks was nice and then one where he erased Mason's easy lay-up was a thing of beauty. Great job tonight Clint!
- GG is back and that is the kind of instant offense we need off the bench.

On the downside...
- Our defense gave up way too many easy baskets.
- Gordon is forcing way too many shots.
- MDA needs his hand slapped for playing the starters too long in a blow out.

 

Meanwhile Jinmy B just hit a game winner for the sixers.........

Yeah I did and that makes sense.

I noticed MDA tinkered the rotations up more than just that. Maybe it's just because green is back and healthy?

I'm glad we got tucker under 30 minutes. I would still like to see the blowout squad come in at 4 or 5 minutes rather than the 3 minute mark but it is what it is.

 

It doesn't matter.

So uh...this thread is barely going to break 20 pages, huh?

Don't look now, but the Rockets have beaten 4 teams with winning records (and two of the top three teams in the west) by double-digits.

In my mind, the season is now 1-0, so I'm hoping for a 60 win season in 67 remaining games. We'll see

The defense is looking good, even though there were a ton of lapses against this young team. I'm not worried about the turnovers either, that was mostly a product of "we already won" syndrome.

So how bout Clint? He would've had one of the plays of the year had he converted that dunk from the baseline spin. Next time he gets that kind of opportunity I bet he flushes it. I can't believe some of the posters here are so low on him. He was clearly not feeling 100% to start the season but he's getting there now.

Harden and CP3 kind of coasted to nice box-score numbers, and that's awesome. Welcome back Gerald Green!

If the Rockets can keep playing like this, I'll be a happy camper.

 

I still don’t understand why harden, CP and Clint are in the game up 20 under 4 minutes left - MDA does this a lot. This WILL bite MDA one of these games....Either he’s an idiot or he has absolutely zero faith in the bench

 

Didn't he miss the would-be game winner in regulation?

 

Harden kicked that bad boy into over drive in the second half. #scoringmachine
