I like The Big Stiff. The guy's busting his butt out there. Better him than Ruth's Chris Steak House, Jr. in the rotation.
Yea He is improving but still we are asking too much of him. He shouldn’t be our second behind Capela. He does a lot of mistakes but it’s understandable because he is a rookie. I like how he defended against Durant or jerebko. It is more annoying watching Capela doing his unnecessary switches, jumping late for a block or not even trying to jump for a rebound or losing an easy rebound or the ball to a smaller player. Smh Hartenstein just needs to catch the ball and not lose it and then dunk instead of not scoring and he will be good.
His ability to guard the quicker guards and move his feet since the start of the season has improved dramatically . Plus he attacks the offensive glass with force. He is becoming a nice backup with a bright future
Just a solid backup C. You can’t ask for more than he has given at his age. Already better than guys like Dedmon.
Yep, like many people have said already, the guy give it all on the floor every single game, he has a long way to go but he is trying.
The CP3 steal and subsequent passes to find a wide open Hartenstein for 3 will probably continue to be the greatest sequence of the regular season. The crowd went absolutely bonkers.
https://stats.nba.com/players/advan...9&SeasonType=Regular Season&TeamID=1610612745 His +23.7 net rating after tonight is so far and away better then anyone else on the team. BUT again he’s only at 9 mpg for the season
He's going to be a really good player if he can hit a 2-3 3s per game. Just catching the ball in traffic and working on his shot, that should be all he works on.
This. MDA should be given credit for giving significant PT to the young guys. Players can't grow watching from the bench. Hopefully it will all pay big dividends in the playoffs.
Highest plus minus on the team, again. He's not winning MVP any time soon, but he helps the team despite looking uncoordinated at times. 20 year old player, 7 foot tall, busts his ass, shows potential to develop a 3 ball and the team has had good results when he's on the floor. Yet people wanna b**** that he's just a big white stiff that we shouldn't waste our time on because he fumbles a ball occasionally.
If the Big Beer* continues to hustle like he did tonight, he'll find himself a nice home in the NBA *yes I am pulling a Matt Bullard and I'm trying to push a dubious nickname (stein = big beer)
This is the key right here. The ability to move his feet, switch, and defend guards. In our system, at the 5 spot, this skill is more important than either finishing the PnR or shooting the 3. On a minimum salary for two more years after this one.
