It would be neat if his L is pronounced as well. For rhyming and cultural purposes.

Okay but what better opportunity is there to develop them than being with a contending team? They should be out there taking their lumps like everyone else on the team. Pardon the repetition, but Marquese Chriss for instance should never have been taken out of rotation. He should have been allowed to stay on par with the team to better utilize his talent. Especially his 3 point shot. As we all can see, Hartenstein is just not enough to backup Capela. Until the organization understands this, they will continue paying for it.

"Yo the boy is a baller and his name is Montrezl,
The ring that he wears has a real clean bezel,"

    That's all I got.

    WTF...

This guy is nothing like Rodman...dumb comparison they aren't even close to similar except for maybe just having energy and being undersized.

Jeez man ESPN hires nothing but hacks bruh

    Quick numbers to compare.

Rodman has a career 17% Oreb and a 30% Dreb.
Montrezl in his career year is at 8% Oreb and 20% Dreb.

    G.T.F.O.

So you felt the "(out of Louisville)" part was necessary? Like people on ClutchFans are gonna go "Ohhhh, that Montrezl Harrell."

He worked well with us just McHale didn’t give him enough minutes and Mike didn’t either. Still he didn’t play like he does now he is playing with a chip on his shoulder now and trying to prove people wrong. He also improve his ft with us he would miss a bunch at times.
Idk why but it seems every player that plays here tends to miss more ft once they go somewhere else they seem to hit them all. :p

Montrezl developed plenty as a Rocket he just wasn't in the playoff rotation because he wasn't a good defender and a terrible rebounder. Skill is not the most important thing on this roster (sounds stupid I know) MOTOR is more important to the Rockets when it comes to young players.

Montrezl wasn't the most skilled player as a Rocket (he is better now) but he played (because of injury) and his motor. iHart is getting playing time because he is relentless despite his skill deficiency and laughable vert; he is getting better game by game just like Montrezl did when he was a Rockets. Chriss would have never been taken out of the rotation if his motor wasn't running on ketchup.

there once was a baller named Montrezl
whose name seemed to eye rhyme with bezel
but in reality the "L" is silent
to pronounce it would be violent
But not as violent as spelling it Montez

Montrezl always played with a chip on his shoulder. Fans forget how he played against Draymond when he was a Rockets he was like a 6'9" Beverley.. Montrezl loves this sh-t.

Montrezl was very high energy for us, but he averaged about one really stupid play every 5 minutes or so. I honestly didn't think he'd ever get that out of his system, but he's outright balling for the Clips.

He's under contract through next year, but is worth looking at summer of 2020 if we need to part with Clint for cap reasons.

I think the game last night vs the warriors is what is drew his comparison. He was relentless. He looked like he was the best 4/5 on the floor excluding KD. He owned Draymond, Looney, etc on both ends of the court. I don’t know his final stats but I was a bit sad watching him dominate like that against the Warriors.

    Oh well.

Oh and btw, Harrell and Rodman have nothing in f'in common except yelling, hair dye and shoes. None of which matter on the court.

closest thing to Dennis Rodman? No way no how. Montrezl has played great for LAC no doubt and I wish he was still on the Rockets, but if we're talking about having him or CP3 - I take CP3 every single day. Harrell has his deficiencies and one really good game against GS does not mask them. Late in the game he was struggling to score against Draymond or KD. He still isn't the rebounder you would expect but he is playing hard which is something a lot of players don't do. He is in probably the best 3 game stretch of his career, if this becomes more of the norm than the anomaly then you could say he was the prize piece of the CP3 trade.

Hartenstein is younger than Chriss. He's also played better than Chriss and presumably is doing better in practice. We're talking about 9 minutes per game here. What do you want MDA to do? Play both of them for 4.5 minutes? They've both been given a chance to win backup spot, Hartenstein for now is putting his name on it. What's the problem?
