So who is going to step up and take Ennis' minutes? He doesn't really do anything out there but I don't see any better options. I'd start developing another young player for the playoffs...

Play Clark and Green. Ennis only in blowouts.

There needs to be an investigation. MDA went with Gary instead of Ennis in winning time.

I still like the idea of Ennis .

I think he's one of those guys that does better and better when the team around him is fully in sync .

and actually his shooting hasn't been too bad.

We can't start Clark yet tho .... gotta get him locked up using MLE first . If we go ahead and start him he might KJ us

He also went with Clark above Clint ... which is questionable ... but when MDA is given the option to play small he plays small .

IMO it needed to be the 5 that closed the first half

    CP3
    James
    Clark
    Tuck
    Clint

Ennis should be coming off the bench.

MDA said Clint couldn't end the game because of his bruised knee so that's why he played Gary.

Ennis really isn’t the problem. He is on a tiny contract and at absolute worst he is a bench rotation guy. He has some issues trying to do too much like James Posey did years ago. Still I am not worried about him.... health and depth/3rd Star, back up 4/5 are all bigger issues. At this point Tucker should be playing 20-25 minutes a night... same with Paul. Unfortunately we have ZERO depth at those spots. I am confident something gets done but it isn’t pretty to watch until it does.

Agree, two more players giving us good minutes are needed. I doubt NeNe, Melo, or Knight will be that at this point.

It’s going to take Knight’s and Chriss’ contracts plus first round picks, in separate deals probably, to do that.

Rockets can move Chriss for a bench rotation piece easily because he is expiring. Teams wanting to move cap space around would be interesting.

Knight is harder. The Rockets obviously hope they can move him and a pick or two for someone like Bazemore if we strike out on guys like Gasol, Conley, Griffin, Beal etc.

Vs. the Pacers tonight Ennis was on Oladipo the 1st half. VO held to 2 pts at half.

I don't think we would want Griffin...as long as Chris Paul is with us.

I would count Gordon as 1 of those 2 . He has been absolute trash this season . If he can get back to his good form we will look a lot better .

I'm holding out hope that a committee of Melo . Green , and knight can have a good game between them ... hell one of them should be hot fairly often .

Also , I think hartenstein will continue to improve .

I agree we need more pieces , but think we need to see how things play out a little further .... of course every loss makes a move more necessary

They butted heads but I wouldn’t completely rule it out. It isn’t likely anyway, he is just an all star caliber player that may become available.

Blake is the only real star the Pistons have had in how long? They aren't trading him

From what I've read Clint sat because he felt his knee, not due to coaching decision.
