I wasn't referring to you, @kjayp. I was referring primarily to that "bmelo" character. Him, and whoever fits the shoe. As for DD's comment, while I can't speak to all of them (which would take a few thousand pages), I think he's right about CP3 and James trying too hard to get Melo touches within the offense. I don't think it's a crisis by itself, but rather one part of an offense (and defense) finding it's way, which has been rather torturous. In my opinion, of course.
I'm just gonna leave this here...Imo MDA never real tried to implement Melo. MDA never draw plays for him to get it in the post. I'm not sure if this payback for the New York firing or what. Our entire offensive scheme is to watch James Harden/Chris dribble in place and jack 3s. Morey/MDA/James/CP3 are the main reasons for this bad start. They all have been mediocre at best since that game 7. The team lacks talent and now we are cutting one of our only capable scorers. Morey better have a legit plan to get this team help or he might get fired. This is turning into a ****ing circus.
Lmao Melo has not even gone close to the reason this team sucks. Paul has been TERRIBLE, Harden has looked very mediocre. The team has been injured, and Morey let Ariza and Luc leave without bringing in any type of defensive replacement. Oh and not to mention we lost our heart and soul of the defense. This is all on Morey,MDA, Paul and Harden. Blaming Melo is a pathetic cop out.
Melo has averaged 30 minutes a game, has the worst +/- and since when do you draw up plays for a washed up guy that hasn't been good in years. I think MDA gave Melo a chance and Melo has sucked.
That would be something. I'm having a hard time figuring out who WOULD do that. But I can't solve the riddle that he's not being waived but he's being "let go".
This might be a returning gift to coach Bzdelik or they just want to hype up the fan base to watch tonights game.
So much for us getting hoodie Marsh-Melo. Don’t believe hype videos on YouTube by MOF. Lol Steven A gone in damage control last night already when they had the meeting to discuss his role moving forward. Got starter minutes and shot 1-11 Where does this washed up go next? No one cares.
NETRTG Melo - 9.0 Capela - 7.0 Tucker - 6.3 CP3 - 6.1 Harden - 5.4 Clark - 5.0 Ennis - 4.3 Gordon - 3.9 And for Fun Ariza - 15.3 Anderson - 11.6
He is like a "disease" that becomes systemic. Getting rid of him would freshen the air. It is not just about his declining skills, it is his "stinky" attitude.
