Trump could literally fart in the Atlantic Ocean tomorrow and bottle it up and sell it by the truckload in a fragrance bottle at any Cracker Barrel location.

This site has become all of a sudden depressing. It looks like 3 or 4 posters have snuck back and have dropped the level of discourse considerably. Have fun.

I'm not judging. Y'all enjoy your discussions about power bottoming and squashes. I get it. Puberty is a difficult and confusing time.

...Said @jcf snidely, as he grinned, shut his laptop and stared lovingly at a microwave.

    He had finally done it.

He had held a internet forum to a higher standard of intellectual discourse.

Did he suggest violence as a solution, as you said? Did he at any point justify violence or defend it?

As I said, I don't watch his program. I did a Google search, and I found that this stems from him questioning whether diversity is a strength. Fine. Diversity and conflict have a very complex relationship. Without people questioning firmly held truths and forcing us to evaluate why we hold them, those truths turn to blind dogma.

Publicly expressing skepticism in a view that others consider to be unassailable truth should not be viewed as a threat -- it is a right that should be welcomed in a society that purports to value free speech. If you want to challenge their opposition, bring forward evidence and arguments that convince others of your position. If evidence/arguments are not enough because the disagreement rests in a difference in values, then you have a choice -- do you seek out conflict with someone who has different values than you or not? When the response is to insult, protest, boycott, or threaten, you have only given fodder to those who believe that facts and reason are not on your side.

Well, let's not add those because I already covered it -- threats (chanting we will fight and we know where you live), vandalism (spray painting the drive way, breaking the door), assault (adding attempting to break down the door to vocalized threats can get you a credible imminent threat of violence which can earn you an assault charge), and hate crime (hate messages, political nature of the animus). So I've covered it already.

But, no it's not terrorism, geez louise. Here is the legal definition of domestic terrorism:

    https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2331

You need 3 things -- dangerous to human life, intended to coerce a population or government or affect government function, and happen in the US. You maybe have dangerous to human life (though that's a big stretch), and that it happened in the US, but it does not coerce a population or government. Maybe if they do this dozens of times to bunches of people and always get away it can cause a more widespread fear that could qualify as terrorism in toto. But one incident -- even two incidents counting the Ted Cruz thing -- of harassment does not qualify as terrorism because the population is not intimidated or coerced.

What's more terroristic, shaming a douchebag as a very public protest or silently mailing bombs or slinking into synagogues to shoot innocent people?

That's the issue I have here. No doubt both are wrong but to even begin equating the two....lol.

I'm right leaning for the record. I just want a party that can be fiscally conservative and not be a bunch of racist shitbags.

Believe it or NOT that is exactly where I am. People with honor and integrity do not support those that lack them.

When I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, inner city activists absolutely hated Antifa. To them, Antifa were a bunch of privileged, white kids from the suburbs who would show up at black people's protests and commit property damage, and in the process, sully black neighborhoods, the practice of non-violent protest, and the message of the police reform movement. These Antifa asses were the ones committing property damage during the Oscar Grant protests.

I wouldn't doubt it at all and it's sad that they are allowed to get away with it.

To me, Antifa are fake because 1) they don't ever kill. 2) when Realfa are out there killing, they are still hiding. 3) All they have done is to provide easy excuses for far right fascists when they need it.

If Antifa are the pure terrorists, USA should be the safest place ever.

I am reading that tucker thinks one of the "protesters" was a former guest.

That is what I really like about his show. He brings a opposing voice on every night. After the interview, even the heated ones, he thanks them and usually the guest reciprocates.
