Pelosi would be a gift to the GOP as speaker …. she'd derail any momentum the Dems have..

Trump needs a foil and Pelosi is perfect for it. Everybody hates Pelosi.

    Yup.

She is a big part of the problem on the democrats side.

I appreciate that she feels strongly and passionately, but her day should be done.

Pelosi is a check on Democratic overreach, the worse thing would be that democrats would be banging the impeachment drum.

Yes leadership needs to get younger but it will need an experience hand to get ready for 2020.

If Trump endorses you and you're not a Republican get the hell out of dodge. Again, we need new blood not these old ass fossils.

He fears Pelosi. And he is correct to hope Democrats fight among themselves and undermine her. Because she is an effective at her job and gets things done . The best hope of stopping her putting sunshine on Trump/Republicans is if her own party undermines her out of some imagined fear of losing votes in red areas. She may not have the most national televised charisma, but she is a warrior in the halls and backrooms of Congress.

The GOP has invested a lot of time and propaganda in vilifying the woman and their best hope is that FoxNews, Sinclair, et al can engender enough fear in their base to hold the GOP coalition together.

Let's trade. Get rid of McConnell too. He's even worse.

You've picked your side …. I haven't , I reside in the middle. It's people like me in the middle who decide the balance of power.

Dems need to sway people like me , they already have you …. which do you want , partisanship or control ?

He gave a good concession speech. Why not let him continue to "speak" on behalf of Democrats?

    Democrats need a pitbull.

Personally, I am done with bipartisanship.

Working with the other side is complicity against the honest truth that the other side is a terrorist organization and needs to be purged from our society. They need a group that will aggressively restore the balance in our government.

Maybe Pelosi can be the Democrat's John Weisbrod -- become Speaker, impeach Trump, and then return to her first love, hockey. Then the rest of the Democrats can blame her for the wrath the white nationalists will unleash and claim to be the 'new Democratic Party' that believes in bipartisanship and collegiality.

... it's a better plan than whatever the Democrats are actually going to do.
