It’s settled: James Ennis sucks

Well if we get Jimmy, then JE can come off the bench. Until then we're stuck with him as a starter.

 

Ennis biggest issue is the fact he's not Zhou Qi, and doesn't get the leeway to actually suck & still be praised around here.

 

Very solid game for Ennis. 15 points on 8 shots in 17 minutes is more than acceptable.

Hopefully Vince Edwards can come back and be useful. He might end up being our Mbah a Moute replacement.

 

8-10 mins off the bench maybe. ideally he should be down to 0 with MCW they just arent good enough.

Ariza likely would have regressed anyway. That's why the narrative of the Rockets losing him being their undoing was ridiculous. He wasn't that good, and was due for regression regardless what team he was on. Either way we were going to have an underwhelming small forward.

 

Ariza is 33, 5 years older than Ennis. Ariza definitely was good for the Rockets, but we would be seeing "Ariza Is Old and Done" threads (by the same Ennis haterz) if he were still here. And our oldest-in-the-league team would be even older.

Sure. We have a team of Olds but not Done players.

But make sure to replace Ariza with someone better and sign Ennis to play him limited minutes.
