Wrong. BoB did a sht job. It is TRUE that you run the ball to set up the pass and its safer /reduces the turnover than passing. What make BoB a sht coach is that his only rush play is the same fking thing over and over rushing it in the middle which usually net negative yards to 2 yard which stalls /kill the drive. You can rush but spice it up, doing the same thing over and over is plain stupid.
He sees it not working, but continues to do it without even making an effort to change the rushing game, just stupid.

The problem I have with BOB is that we just keep trying to run when it isn't effective. He plays like he is running down the clock the whole game. We don't use other receivers, tight ends, or running backs enough as options. It is run up the middle, pass to Hopkins, ineffective screen passes. Then we watch Watson running around holding the ball because Hopkins is covered and get tackled or sacked, then punt.

Use more targets every pass!! Mix it up a bit. The run run pass punt got old about 3 years ago. It might work against the mediocre teams but come playoffs preparation of new strategies could make a huge difference.

I understand the "running the clock" issue, but calling the same play over and over while you are getting "stuffed" is just stupid. The Broncos have one of the worst run defenses in the league, but OBrien made it easy for them. They knew what he was going to do over and over and over. Also, his misuse of Miller is just stunning. Miller is not a bruising power runner; he is a finesse breakaway runner like when he was a Dolphin and ran all over the Texans. You have to get him in space. Instead, he gets run into the teeth of the defense over and over. This is just too dumb for professional sports.

The Broncos came in with the plan to shut our running game down. They stacked the box with 8-9 players darn near on every possession. The thing is Bill O'Brien is so freaking stubborn. He refuses to switch it up, therefore, we so predictable .

Well this 2 weeks of rest should prove to be beneficial for the team. They should be able to get most of the injured players back and get Thomas all the way caught up with the playbook.

OB finally has his franchise qb but instead of going for the kill he played conservative and put his defense in a terrible spot. Thankfully the kicker choked. Meanwhile Sean Peyton was in a similar situation and instead of playing not to lose he calls a play that turns into a 70 yd td. I’m glad for the W but this is the same bs he did last year vs the Seahawks and Patriots.

It’s going to cost us a first round loss. I do not trust him vs any coach.

To cut O'Brien some slack (just some); maybe he knows what he has (or doesn't have) in his tackles and believes things would be worse if he called plays differently. Still doesn't mean you can't run some jet sweeps or quick slants on 1st down. Worst case scenario is they lose a couple yards which is pretty much what Blue and Lamar were doing on first down anyway.

Seems like every team uses their running backs in the passing game except us. There was one game we did and Alfred freaking blue had a big game. Why don’t we continue to do that? It’ll open the field up a lot.

Yep I think Blue had 75 yds receiving vs the cowgirls. Haven’t had anything close to that since.

Im dont have to coach football to know that doing the same thing every first down regardless of opposing team or situation is stupid as fk and makes u predictable. Calling the same play that generates negative to 2 yards is setting the team up for failure, just bc we win now doesnt mean it's going to do well in the playoffs.

Pretty hilarious how people went from being despondent that the season was over, to now being despondent about a possible first round exit... and then it will merely evolve to “well, they’re going to lose to the Chiefs or Pats anyways if they get past the first round opponent”... and so on and so on.

I do think this season is more palatable to watch than last year... even though the offense doesn’t look as prolific. Funny how winning creates that impression.

There’s still a ton of season left to be played. Plenty of time for improvement and or regression.
