I had seats a few rows from mid-court at MSG a few years when the Rockets played the Knicks with a friend of mine who lives in NYC. I was agitating Knicks fans and players pretty much the whole game. If I said something funny they'd laugh and if not I'd get that sideways look. My friend says... "You aren't worried you will get your ass kicked." My response was "Not by people who can afford these tickets" Everyone around me started laughing. I never got crude or rude. Most fans can appreciate good smack.
Because we never knew what his game would be like without the Beard. He came bearded into the league.
