Exactly, besides nobody knows how valuable these draft picks will be. Potentially, they could be worth a lot.

On the last year of Harden's contract? Knowing he's not coming back, and this year is a lost anyways?
Hell yea i would do it, its the best way to build a franchise when you are paying big bucks for the stars and not much left for the others. Especially if my so called 'superstars' are still really young

I don't think it would be Bradley Beal. If Morey is willing to package Gordon and/or Knight with 1st round picks, he's looking for someone higher up on the list:

Sounds like Minny smells desperation and is looking to squeeze Houston for all it's worth. Also they may need a solid veteran player back to keep Thibs and more importantly Towns happy.

I wonder if a 3 way trade is possible with a third team getting a few of Houston's assets in exchange for sending an acceptable veteran help to the Wolves.

Yeah, if he waits to resign two years he would be able to get more money, but is it really worth it? When his current contract will expire he will be 31, and for a guy with his injury history that's a very big risk to take...especially if he's really ok in staying where he is, unless he really thinks he's going to get something like a 90/100x4M contract at the age of 31 which is absolutely unrealistic.

OKC will trade Adams and start Noel before they trade George.

Yep, that would seem to be the only remaining choice. But...why? Maybe to discourage other suitors?

They play the same position, I don't see trading Gordon as that much of a loss. That would be like trading for Anthony Davis and being concerned that you had to include Capella in the deal.

Ok, just include Tom Thibodeau in the trade.

To me, the problem is our depth. Right now, we’re resigned to playing the likes of MCW major minutes. If we give up 4 first round picks, I want to come away with not just the best player, but also enhanced depth.

If they’re firm on getting back Gordon, then I want Gibson.
