Gundy slowed the game down on offense to decrease the tempo of the game to make it defensive where by the third quarter every possession mattered. MDA want a free flowing fast tempo to make the game offensive in the end win big or lose big. They would probably agree to disagree and NEVER put themselves in that situation because their coaching philosophies clash.
This seems like a personnel problem, the more I watch. Coaches shouldn't have to teach veteran NBA players how to not get blown by on the perimeter every single possession.
If all we run offensively is isolation and pick and roll....what do we really need MDA for? Just get a defensive coach
