Hope he does not make Tucker his Chuck Hayes. Would not work that well these days.

Gundy slowed the game down on offense to decrease the tempo of the game to make it defensive where by the third quarter every possession mattered. MDA want a free flowing fast tempo to make the game offensive in the end win big or lose big. They would probably agree to disagree and NEVER put themselves in that situation because their coaching philosophies clash.

Van Gundy isn't going to move out of the broadcasters booth to be someone's assistant

This seems like a personnel problem, the more I watch. Coaches shouldn't have to teach veteran NBA players how to not get blown by on the perimeter every single possession.

His salary with ESPN is way higher than what the Tillman can afford to pay him.

I wonder how long it’ll be until we resort to a zone defense.

I'm hoping that the excitement of the game and the love of Houston will bring him back.

There's no way it could get any worse, so I'm down for almost anything at this point.

If all we run offensively is isolation and pick and roll....what do we really need MDA for?

    Just get a defensive coach

Yes, because we need someone who is an expert regarding NBA defenses from a decade ago!

Hell yes offer him the job. Tat's a no brainer! However, I really don't think he'd accept it!
