    So I live in Austin, Texas but I bought a sailboat in Cape Coral, Florida. It's a 34'er with a 70 gallon water tank and a 20 gallon diesel tank. It'll do about 8 nautical miles on a gallon, so that's only 160 miles roughly. I have extra canisters of diesel for another 120 miles so we'll be sailing most of the time. It should take between 6 and 10 days.

    The sailboat will rest itself in the Houston area once the trip is over.
