29 of 29 GMs would take Cato over Osterfag, even if he is making a whole lot more, including the Rockets. And how can you say he would like playing in Utah? I don't think anyone likes playing in Utah.

    Let's see...

    Ewing
    Oakley
    Weatherspoon
    M. Jackson

Why did we get rid of Rice?

We would have an entire team of ex Knicks.

Come to think of it, Starks fits the above line-up better...;)

I would really hate to see the Rockets become a retirement center for old Knicks. There are advantages to veteran leadership, but let's build for the future.

I remember the Rockets' game in Washington last year when Oakley was knocking our players down like bowling pins. I don't know if I was madder at Oakley for his cheap play or the Rockets for not standing up to him.

He can't play anymore. He's a senior citizen by NBA standards. He's a bad influence in the locker room. And on top of that, he's a bad citizen. No more ex-Knicks!

Hell, we could of had Ward too if Les would of allowed it.

Isn't Oakley the guy Olajuwon called "dirty in his heart"?

    Hey JVG,

These guys didn't win a championship in 94. What makes you think they can do it 10 years later?

Seriously, if names like Starks and Mason and Charles Smith start popping up, I'm gonna start rooting for the Spurs.

Ya know, I have no love for New York. I have been a huge Rockets fans since 87 when I moved to Houston. But I really dont see the problem with adding players to the team that were also Knicks. If they can help, why not accept them? Who the hell cares?

This would also mean that the Rockets could add Depends as a sponsor...

Have we gotten far with our quest to receive a sponsorship from
    TANG?

Since we're all so sick of Dawson, why not follow this up by signing Layden to be our GM?

I believe Anthony Mason is still unemployed. Give him a holler, CD. This'll be a fantastic lineup, don't you think?

    Jackson
    Stark
    Mason
    Oakley
    Ewing

Instant Championship contender . . . a decade too late.

I don't believe David Aldridge. The Rockets have no use for Oakley right now. I bet David Aldridge is reviving this past rumor that was more likely to happen at the beginning of the year, just to spice up his story.

Any chance we can get Derek Harper out of retirement? He'd be the defensive-minded backup PG that we've always wanted!

Does anyone know if Willis Reed's knee is ok? What kind of shape is Clyde in?

Those were the days... Ball movement was such a wonderful thing to see.
