I would have done a sign and trade of Capela and 4 first rounders for Kawhi.

Like you said, anything. To have gotten Kawhi over here with CP3 and Harden would almost guarantee championship.

 

Why would butler want to come to Houston? Be a 3rd wheel .. not destination city ... etc

 

To be a winner and not play with soft losers like KAT and Wiggins.

 

Minny is projected to be a top 4 seed. Kay and Wiggins are young and improving, both at all star levels. Not an mvp like harden, but I'm wondering why butler decided he didnt like them and forced a trade? He kinda did the same thing in Chicago. Why would Butler not stay in Minny and be the main wheel?

 

Butler should take the ball and chunk it into the stands, but before he does that he should let the TPups organization know via twitter that he's going to do it. The act will be a metaphor for how stupid they are for passing up 4 first rounders while their team is too young to win.

 

I'd do it. Gordon is too inconsistent and the 4 1sts are nothing, assuming Morey can get some 2nds in return

 

At this point it's looking like you had to attach 4 first rounders just to unload Ego.

Lol thats all they want? Why isn’t this a done deal? Paul Tucker Capella and Butler all on the floor at the same time? That’s one hell of a defensive lineup. The bench will be fine because one of Paul Harden or Butler will always be on the floor and two of them will almost always be on the foor together. Plus we have the best GM in sports at finding good role players.

Should've made this offer to other all-stars in the off-season like Kawhi. Morey was too overconfident in his signings in MCW and Melo.

Now he's desperately trying to fix the wagon and it just so happens we're dealing with one of the most incompetent FOs in the league in TWolves.

If the trade doesn't go through, I hope TWolves will be mediocre for the next decade.

 

I think they're doing this because they know Butler would stay here, you know Butler is connected to Melo and James, Kawhi is another story, probably no one on our team is connected to him, and with the rumors of him having interest in go back to LA well, that would be very risky, probably too much.

 

This deal is only worth considering imho if u still think the window to win (and by win I mean championship) is now.

Frankly, I don’t believe that anymore. And thus the offer by Morey for four first rounders is ridiculousnimho.

This team requires major revamping now. Get younger. Get faster. Get more defensive minded.

I dare say this team will be back in semi rebuilding mode.
