    umm 1st round picks are pretty valuable. harden is a rocket largely because of 2 of them

    Since Basketball rosters are 12-15 players it basically means usually...USUALLY...potential star players are gone past 13 or so.

    Late first round picks are basically like 4th round picks in the NFL. You'd be lucky to get a rotation player out of a #20+ pick

    Minnesota acquired Butler for Kris Dunn, Zach Lavine and Lauri Markkanen and now they are getting four first round draft picks for him. That's a good return on investment.

    My Speculation Is:

    A - Rockets management realize we need to replace the D we lost at the small forward position and in a hurry.
    B - We make the Wolves look like idiots if they turn down four 1st Round picks, and the entire league will be laughing when JB creates a level of insanity we cannot even imagine. I mean, if I am Jimmy Butler, and I find out the Wolves turned down four first round picks, it sends a strong message to me the Wolves are just playing with me.

    Murrhey probably knows Tilman will buy him a high 2nd-round pick in those four years.

    So it sounds horrible that we're trading 4 1st-rounders, but we're actually just dropping 5-10 slots each time.
