These guys (capela, chriss, hartenstein) are big ass athletic dudes. Shot blockers. Small ball is great but when you are playing anthony davis and husky mfers like randle you gotta bring out your wallet that says "bad motherf*£er "
That wallet is morey and our parts. we have the parts folks. New orleans will be good no doubt but we can also play to new orleans in as much know we have this versatile team that can interchange.

I think dantoni got caught napping and hopefully is not too stubborn here. It still is a tall dudes game..surely if we get hammered in layup drills ongoing inside that he make some adjustment defensive.

He has a luxury of understanding he can always run whole game cp3 and melo or harden and melo with 3 other monsters like pj tucker and co. at defense.

Sure teams play us ..not us them .but we need to have some adaptation. Our roster now calls for it. Dantoni has never had that with us. A real full team. He may not know how to act. He has chriss and hartenstein sitting there ready to spell capela and block shots.

Second we see any kind of layups we need to put in our all smother lineup with melo and cp3 or melo and harden then the other 3 being smotherers. Im ok with capela ennis tucker chriss hartenstein being those other 3 smotherers. Mix in gordon here and there and we go.

Smothers brothers.

With that we *should* have a top flight interior defense. But it shouldnt always be switching guards on to anthony davis. Sometimes we need to not be all the way cute and when they say check out this knife thats when you say "thats not a knife...THATS a knife"

 

Not sure ..as you know things are strange here.

We are more half court team now but more versatile. More weapons. We need to adjust to that. Dantoni needs to recognize that. We can beat you in different ways now with our new pieces
