if we play defense like last night then most definitely...guys like Melo and MCW can easily be exploited come playoff time...Melo for his abysmal D, and MCW for his trash jumper that the opposing defense does not have to respect at all...this guy is no Livingston, and the Rockets do very little off-ball movement unlike GS so MCW will be parked in the corner just standing there as his man helps on Harden/CP3 and clogs up the paint

i find it odd how obviously rubio would be a bad fit but there's people that think mcw is somehow going to be any different. he posses the exact same issues and might be even worse from the perimeter. his signing was puzzling from the beginning

It’s one game... can we at least wait til we are like 1-4 before we start acting like the sky is falling...

Well thats too bad CAUSE THEY LOST WITHOUT CURRY IN GAME 1, stop it. They are not better than us. Bad match up sure, but we gotta alot of cleaning up to do.

God, i wanna be negative but its stuff like this man.

yeah, I never understood it...his D could be useful, but he brings major problems on the other end...he is the exact type of player that seriously hurts your offense come playoff time because teams won’t worry about guarding him

I dun see why discussing it automatically means the sky is falling - some other guys are too sensitive.

Next game against the Lakers is in 3 days - there is plenty time to converse.

Our only hope is to cede the 2-3 seed to the Pels and take on the Warriors in the 2nd round as the 4 seed.

    Deliverable: ON TARGET

I highly doubt our team will look the same past deadline and vet buy outs. Melo, MCW, these guys can all be waived at any point for other players in buyout season. Morey don't give af.

Pelicans are a fast paced big team. Bad match up. Slow it down in the playoffs and given that we shoot up to our standards, we'd smoke them in 5.

and like you said for a team with limited off ball action, this is absolutely detrimental for a iso heavy team. but yeah he's one of the players i was referring to that eventually will get exploited and won't be a factor as the season progresses. The rotation will then fall back to the core once again and the "deep team" conversations go away

I don't know about the rest of you Clutchfans, but I'm so f*cking glad the Playoffs don't start after one game.

Just to vent my frustration a little bit. As you know I'm not one of the people who go full melt down mode whenever the Rockets lose.
