This beat down should be a learning experience and serious wake up call for the guys who were part of this team last year. We are getting what we deserve in a way. Why you say? Look back on the off-season and just realise how often a Rockets player or someone of the organisation talked about how we are a better team than last year etc. If we had been the Warriors, everyone would’ve killed us for our thrash talk and gloating. The Melo addition was some great move and every question mark thrown into the wind. Harden hungry as ever, CP3 more fire than ever to start again, Tucker the hero, Ennis is as good as Ariza and Mbah and we didn’t lose any key players etc. This was a reality check that we are not a better team, we will have adjustment issues and we’re definitely not going to be better defensively with the loss of players and Bzdelik. We will be fine, but there are plenty of good reasons to doubt our team aside from the media’s take. Pride comes before the fall (unless you are the Warriors)
