And thanks to the commentators most people think it's the right call because the fan closed his glove...ignoring that that is irrelevant the moment he reaches over the fence.
The fan didn’t reach over, the player went into the crowd, and the call was made 330 feet away by an old man who couldn’t possibly have seen what happened from the angle that he had. Joe West has called a good series, but that call will be remembered forever as the biggest screw job in Houston sports history.
hopefully that lights a fire under their ass.... sure has pissed me off. just a sh!ty convergence of bullsh!t. Joe changing his call on the field, letting a guy over 200' away make that call to begin with, and having our own damn security guard block the camera down the fence. now that i think of it why don't they have more cameras along and above the fence for exactly that reason??? godammit i'm pissed about that turn of events.
Unbelievable how obvious it was and still called incorrectly. The guys in New York are grinning their ass off as we speak. Bullsh1t, mayne
Simply put Joe West is too old and unathletic too properly make that call thus the screw job. replay HAD to stay with the call on the field which Joe West was unsure and defaulted to the fielder
Since the beginning of this game it has felt like its us against the world again and I think thats what this team thrives on, Let’s go Stros!
