Jake fouled Yao. He was trying to ripped Yao's head off while Steve made the shot.

The foul was away from ball and Tylor made the shot.

In the case of Thompson, I just think he is biased towards a style of play for big men, hence the continual criticism of Yao. As for the other comments by he and the play-by-play guy, they clearly did not do their homework. Kerr isn't quite as bad, but none of them seem to have a clue about the Rockets as a team or the individual players. That's just poor preparation.

Rockets should sign Padgett to a long-term contract after this season. Lock this guy up.

Padgett was great... he was moving well without the ball... something Yao cannot do as well. Plus the defense isn't really thinking too much about him.. he got a couple layups only because of good positioning and the respect for the other Rockets.

Good move by Van Gundy. The Grizz were so focused on Yao and Yao was pretty ineffective... he put Padgett in. Most of those points Padgett scored, Yao would have not gotten as easy as Padgett. Had Yao been in the same position they would have zeroed in on him.

Mark Eaton didn't have black hair. He was a blonde.

dick stockton (those two words do go together nicely). he's said the wrong name at least 4 times and i'm constantly trying to hear the PA guy in the background to find out who the foul was really on.

francis going crazy with nifty passes and he's got 4 assists just to padgett. mo t and mobley aren't shooting that well and the grizz seem to be hitting shots they normally wouldn't.

i know gasol is mobile and our big guys aren't, but does he always have to have a career day against us? i mean he's taken a few turnarounds with cato draped on him and they still go in. at least he's not going to the line like crazy in the past.

and not to jinx it, but memphis forces the most (or second most) TO's in the league and we turn it over like crazy and yet we only have 4 at the half. nice.

I meant that he was more famous than Ostertag at giving Hakeem trouble, IMO. Actually, wasn't Eaton more dirty blonde and all freckly. :p

yep that is exactly what I'm thinking...

WAY TOO MANY MISTAKES. HORRIBLE commentating! :p

    Like..Posey averaging 17 ppg? Really?

So many screw ups..like foul on Yao Ming..no Jimmy Jackson.

And then I'm left clueless on some plays..they are too busy talking about some other game or the Grizzlies..and don't even tell us what's happening...

    Horrible...

    But be happy!

    Rockets...are gonna lose this one.

I always thought that was just because Mark was so friggin' slow he was still reacting to Hakeem's first move when Dream was on his third or forth.

we only had 4 TOs at 1st half, so watch the TO on 2nd half.

    If 2nd half's TOs >= 10, we loss
    TOs < 8, we win

damn why is Francis afraid to shoot the ball> He has nice easy range jumpers he keeps passing up.

And man, I think Jeff Van Gundy needs to go ahead and play Padgett and Taylor alongside Yao for the rest of this game.

wake up! somebody knock Miller on the floor to take him out of the game!

Is it by design that Yao starts from the weak side for the 2nd half?

Right now we have 2 TOs in a row. That's not a good sign.:(

Mobley and JJ are 3 for 14 tonight. That's not good.
