I've seen Cuttino Mobley out and about every once in a while and I have to admit that they guys is just a genuinely nice guy. I saw him at Belvedere on Saturday night and congratulated him for their bad ass game against Minnesota. He just remarked that he wants to keep the momentum up. I then offered to buy him and his two friends a round of drinks but they said they were fine. Of course I did have the girl i'm dating with me and her friend who both had the mini-skirt/high heel look going. Then Cat's friend started hitting on my girl, but she said she was with me. I then asked him why I never see Yao Ming out, and that they should take him out sometime. Him and his friend chuckled in a "YEAH RIGHT, he's home playing video games kinda way". Later I was walking by and Cat asked me if I wanted a drink, but I said I was fine. BTW, I really don't even think he's 6'4. Maybe 6'3 or so.
I DON"T BELIEVE YOU! WHERE ARE THE PICTURES!! Just kidding man. Cat seems like he would be a cool guy and that's sweet that he offered to buy you a drink. Now, were you more jealous or more humbled when one of Cat's buddies hit on your girl cuz you know those guys probably don't just hit on average chicks!
Yeah Cat is cool. I was surprised when he remembered me recently. Khan- When we going to hit the town?
Seems Cat likes Sex in the City http://www.nba.com/nbabuzz/cattrall_031104.html November 5, 2003 -- Look who left the city and was sitting courtside in Jersey last night? None other than Sex and the City vixen Kim Cattrall. Though it was Cattrall's first NBA game, she paid close attention to the action, especially to her friend Cuttino Mobley, who, to the dismay of her Jersey admirers, plays for the opposition Rockets. But the Buzz knows if it was her alter-ego, the slinky and scintillating Samantha at the game, with all those young, beautiful, muscled men surrounding her, the action would have been off the court ... way off the court.
Ew, gross - Kim Cattrall is like 48 years old!! But she does look good for a 48 year old, but Cat could obviously do better like Drewdog's girlfriend! Just kidding, Drew! Khan, Did you tell him that you post on the Clutchfans site and that he is a constant source of people wanting to trade him (including me but not anymore )? Or you could have told him that you post on that site that had all those weirdos that came to see him in the last home game of the season including the guy from Australia.
I don't think Yao COULD go out... I mean, Cuttino can blend in to a certain degree, but there's only one 7'6" Chinese guy in Houston, and everyone knows who he is. It'd be funny to have Yao Ming hit on your girlfriend though. Unsuccessfully, of course.
Yeah cat is cool, i saw him hanging out with Scarface a couple of weeks ago at TOC bar on a sunday night.
Whoa. Why did she bring a magnifying glass to the game? Is that to find the playmaking ability of the Rockets, or is it... oh no.
Damn, we were going to hit up Belvedere Saturday night, too! We ended drunk on a couch at some girl's house in the Woodlands.
Coma, You didn't miss much. That place is predominantly older cheesy man with too much of a tan and the female mix is either a 30, 40-something divorced women with a few too many pounds looking for action or dirty gold diggers. The place was just reaking of botox. Fortunately I walked in with two scantily dressed young women so we were having a good time. Drew, I'm ALWAYS out and about. But we're weary of where to go nowadays. I'm kinda Red Doored out b/c i've been going there waaay too much. I'm doing an EMBA every other weekend as well so that limits my time a bit. I'm thinking of starting the cycle over again and taking my crowd to Uropa or start to liven up an older joint. I'm all about turnarounds. Plan something and i'm down.
F.D Khan - if you would have gone to Red Door you would have seen Boki Saturday night. I was there and he basically was doing laps around the bar all night. We congratulated him on the badass game and said we'd like to see him play a bit more, and he stopped and chatted with us for a while. He was a really nice guy and made a point to talk to everyone.
We hit up the Licor Lounge, and that was eh. I haven't been back to the Red Door in awhile. Last time I was there, the sausage/bun ratio was too skewed for my taste. My next stop will be back there, and maybe verify Khan's review of the Belvedere.
