Harden and Paul are the only two players better than Melo on this team. Gordon is a toss up. The starting five should be: Paul Harden Ennis or Tucker Melo Capela
If Anderson was handling his business PJ wouldve continued to come off the bench. Lets not act like he's been lightening it up like that. And he most definitely doesn't space the floor like Anderson did and how Anthony would.
"lighting it up" has nothing to do with it. It has more to do with all of this which has been mentioned numerous times before and by anyone who followed the PJ tucker effect throughout the year and in the playoffs The Rockets had the third-ranked defense in the NBA from the Feb. 6 lineup change, when P.J. Tucker became a starter, through the rest of the regular season. Prior to the change, it ranked 11th. PJ's much improved 3ball spaces the floor for hou just fine. It makes his spot all the more solidified in that starting lineup and again isn't going anywhere. His impact on the game for this team trumps what anderson and melo do easily. The rockets truly became elite when the defense actually did
He definitely does space the floor did you miss the playoffs last year? and his defense is light years better which is why he is more valuable as a starter.
We're talking about for an entire season not just a hand full of games. Tucker is not and will never be a 4. Please coaches stop trying to fit a round peg into a freaking triangle peg. And if you looked at my starting lineup I clearly said Tucker and or Ennis will start at the THREE POSITION.
I would like to see Melo and PJ starting lineup? Can't hurt to try, if this makes Melo play better and we WIN, I'm all for it.
if last year wasn't enough for you then youre about to get a full season of PJ at the 4. not even sure why this even needs to be brought up. and it wasn't just a handful of games. season starts in less than a week. you're welcome to keep denying it but itll be reality once again real soon even though its what it is already
I'm liking Ennis so far, so don't read too much into my goofy comment here.. His 3-point shot feels weird to me, but I can't put my finger on it. It always seems like a rainbow shot that he's just kind of heaving up there.
