They didn't even investigate if he was lying under oath even though there was strong evidence that he did. Also, one week is not enough time to investigate the validity of the sexual assault claim either. There was no due process. Kavanaugh was essentially shoved down our throats.

It's funny how Republicans like to forget that Lincoln was a a liberal.

You guys have the biggest, saddest persecution complex in the history of the world.

Boo hoo, we're so sad and persecuted because the mean old Democrats don't want to let us torture Muslims and put brown people in concentration camps and make fun of the weird gays and wash our hands so we dont get their cooties, and now they're even trying to hold us accountable when we try and rape someone!

Life is so unfair! Our best friend Pootie-Poot's mom let him do all that stuff plus she lets him stay up past his bedtime to watch TV. I hate you and mom, too. I hope I die, then you'll all be sorry. *sniff* *sniff*

I'm just waiting for the Republicans to become teenagers, buy a whole bunch of black clothes and a few NIN albums, and start cutting themselves.

It would be seriously absurd if you weren't actually leaving a wake of human wreckage in your path.

Also, if you for a second think that Abraham Lincoln wouldn't be completely repulsed by you and your cheeto overlord, you need to expand your knowledge of the man to more sources than Abraham Linclon Vampire Hunter.

The more I think about it, the more disgusted I become at your self-indulgent persecution complex. The fact that you then try to co-opt Lincoln into being a kindred spirit of Shawn Hannity is the fecal cherry on top.

This is pathetic and disgusting from like 15 different angles, even more so because you are do completely devoid of empathy that you guys probably really do think you have it worse than everybody else.

Yuck. I'm going to go wash my hands.

Pretty funny given that the Democrats are currently throwing temper tantrums like an infant because they didn't get to lynch the innocent man that they wanted to.

Old entitled white guy from elitist background with relatively few years of judicial exp, petulently demands the job under oath to his other entitled elitist white guys...and gets it.

    Conservatives rage about "persecution".

How odd populist Trump never touted Brett's (as white bread a name you can get) Yale connections

Well yeah, Texas has moved on from alcoholic womanizing slave owners for the most part, but there's always some that would see a return of those Democratic party values.

Considering texas was a blue state from inception until 1980... what happened to all those voters?

    1. Almost every single left leaning person from senators to media to everyday people said, you must believe Christine Blasé Ford because she is a woman and comes from a historically marginalized demographic. No corroborating evidence needed. That is the very definition of intersectionality. It is also the very definition of sexism in this case. #metoo #believewomen etc... are all left leaning movements that completely ignore due process and vilify any man that is accused. So yes absolutely true.

    2. I’m speaking more on the notion that offensive speech is hate speech and should be banned. I’m also referring to the movement that we should be forced by law to refer to someone by their preferred pronoun. There are already places in the US that have begun creating laws geared towards this.

    3. I’m not a tea party fan. I don’t particular like Ted Cruz. And while there are radicals who align themselves with both parties, I’ve never seen radical hate groups like ANTIFA or the KKK before them accepted by mainstream Republicans like they have been accepted in mainstream Democratic circles.

That’s not to say the Republicans haven’t had their own issues such as McCarthyism but how many times do we see conservatives openly chasing down democrats at restaurants, banging on their house and forming mobs in the streets of DC. How often have we seen conservative create videos holding the presidents severed head in their hands. How many times do we see conservative leaders condone that action. I could go on and on.

Conservatives tend to regroup when they lose an election and try it again next election cycle.

    4. I’m not going to change your mind here but the world has gotten progressively better when capitalism is applied and progressively worse when socialism is applied. That’s my beliefs and I’m not going to change yours.

    5. I’m pro-choice (up to a point) personally and don’t buy into the notion that Kavanaugh has any real interest in making this a goal. But over turning Roe v Wade doesn’t suddenly make abortion illegal, it just returns the power back to the states to make it illegal if they choose. Some state like Texas would likely make abortion illegal while California would celebrate abortion.

    6. One of the reasons I disliked the tea party movement was because of my concerns on this very subject. I’m personally very much pro-LGBT equal rights. Having said that, I think there is more of a libertarian movement in the Republican Party thinks to guys like Ben Shapiro who don’t believe the Government should have the right to govern people’s sex or marriage lives.

    7. That’s why we should all want textualists as Supreme Court Justices. Really, if the shoe were on the other foot would Republicans want a bunch of left leaning Justices? No. But each President has the right to nominate the new Justice when one steps down. You wouldn’t be complaining about this if Hillary had won. I’ll go to my grave believing that Bernie Sanders would have beat Trump in an election. Dems screwed up by electing someone that was so polarizing.

    8. Nothing wrong with wanting to stop Kavanaugh from being the next SCOTUS. There was everything wrong with how the Democratics went about doing it. Massive smear campaigns, mob rules, harassment and intimidation tactics are just wrong. Look at the poles, there is every indication that the Democrats actions the last several weeks has rallied the Republican support heading into next months elections.

It's funny how we compare political parties dated back 150 years ago.

So it's your opinion that Nixon ran in 1980? Also, I'm not sure how old you are, but essentially EVERYONE voted for Nixon in 1972. The only state he didn't win was Massachusetts and he also won Washington DC, it was one of the most one sided elections there has ever been.

Perhaps you should read the Coope Union Address. Lincoln actually made the argument that Republicans, not Democrats, were the true conservatives because they were being true to the Constitution the way the founding fathers intended.

The Republicans of the 1800's are the Democrats of today. The Democrats of the 1800's are the dixie flag waving right-wing republicans of today.

Do you understand that? You were the democrat back in the 1860's. You were the slave owners. Those proud of the southern heritage were the ones lynching blacks. Those who call the dixie flag heritage forget that the flag was made to fight to keep their slaves.

You are so lost and stupid that you have to twist everything around. This is isn't about party boy. It's about values. And you have some ugly values.
