Because Lonzo Ball had a decent set shot in College and in his rookie year he shot 50 points better from 3 than MCW's career average, 70 points better than his average last year. And people say Lonzo didn't shoot well. MCW has played two preseason games here.
Knee-jerk but Isaiah Hartenstein. Haven't seen a player fight for his life in the game before. It's probably just early and he knows his spot on the team is not a guarantee but the hustle he puts out on the court had me in awe. Haven't had a hustling big like him in a long time.
I second (all) that emotion. I'm liking the look of this team so far. Only issue with Carter-Williams is that they are clearly struggling with a nickname for him on the broadcast. I propose "The Hyphen".... Don't react right away, just let it wash over you.

Man I was waiting for malakas' take on MCW's rise up the Clutchfans popularity rankings. We know you aren't a fan of MCW, but what do you think of how he's playing now? You don't think MCW play is sustainable?

Playing with Harden and CP3 and MDA can completely change a player. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if MCW looked decent. He’s a solid defender already. If he played within himself who knows.
