Am hoping it ends up having something in common with THE LOBSTER but looks unlikely based on trailer.

He blew his cover when he called them pee-cans instead of pe-khans when talking to the Texas state trooper.

Some backstory: This will be the 2nd of 4 films that take place in the same universe as Gran Torino, called the Eastwood Universe.

    Not true.

IDK if I like this male white washed remake of 'Maria Full of Grace.'

I had a little trouble engaging that film but Weisz was pretty endearing in the latter half; I've never made a list but she'd probably be right at the top.

Mules are notoriously difficult to work with on set. I've read that Eastwood used humans in mule costume in some scenes, and CGI mules in other scenes, depending on whether the script called for close ups of facial expressions versus action sequences.

Did anyone see this on the big screen? I got it yesterday at Redbox and was really surprised at how good a job Clint Eastwood did playing his roll. It's a slow paced movie, and you don't have to be glued to the screen to still get into this show. It's no Gran Torino, so you may as well accept that part of it.
