I don't know why you keep repeating that. We won't know, obviously. Got it done. Tucker will know. The offer including Tucker could easily get rejected. Tucker could play better than ever even after knowing. Also possible Tucker could not find out if he was offered, and has a poor season. But the point of this thread is whether it will affect him. I don't think so. We won't know. But it certainly could and he won't necessarily have to be stoked if he is still a Rocket. Just business.
Hmm maybe I gotta little off topic there, but my point is that MAYBE Tucker was actually holding up the deal. We dont know that Morey was willing to include PJ(in fact theres more reason to believe he wasnt). I just dont think you should so sure that PJ was actually on the table.
Trade rumors are like birthdays. Every once-in-a-while, one of them will hit you HAARRD! You really can't predict when a trade rumor will negatively effect a player. With Ryno, he'd been hearing trade rumors for a couple of years, so they finally took their toll on him.
I was fine with 50. However, 2 months later, my employer gave me a "transition to retirement" package. They only do that to "OLD" people!
I don't think any feelings will be hurt at all. EGo had already been traded for CP3 once in his life, so being in discussions for another allstar shouldn't come as a surprise for him. And honestly on the side of PJ it may even be a confidence booster. Nobody has considered him Jimmy trade fodder until he joined us. It's a business, and these guys know that waaayy better than we do.
These guy’s are pro’s pros. They know the bizness. Being on the Rockets has increase their value. They’ll be fine
Moving to another home is one of life's most stressful events. When NBA players move they move to another state. They get paid a lot of money for this but it still bothers them. Same as it would bother anyone. Especially players who have wives and kids.
Will it ?.. Maybe Should it ?.. No Millionaires should stop being weak-minded simps. PJ and Ego know Jimmy is better than them. If they dont believe that, then they need to show the same strength and not allow it to affect their play.
I'm more concerned with recruiting players in the future. You trade guys you recruit at the drop of a hat the next guy is not likely to wanna hear your pitch. Nevermind the fact that we're absolutely beastly. Why fvck with it that hard?
at the end of the day, this really doesn't have much to do with the future when it happens all across the league. players will always come and go one way or another. it's a business and every single one of these players understand that. houston recruited Dwight hard, then couldnt wait to get rid of him. it's not like cp3 was wondering wtf was going on. He couldn't wait to get to houston
I like how the team looks without Butler. Good combo of young guys and vets. I wouldn't tinker with anything until trade deadline.
