Great game by the Rockets. It seems like the offense is coming around and the defense is outstanding as usuall. My only gripe is that Francis, Jackson, and Mobley all played 44 - 43 minutes in this guy which was a blowout.

For your information, the ball was near the half court line, and there was no defender at all 5 metres within Yao. So you are blaming Yao for seeing a scoring opportunity and going for it? what is wrong with you??? if anybody passed the ball to Yao at that time it would have been an EASY slam...... Or, maybe you are just one of those Yao-haters.....

One of the few times I am actually happy, nay ECSTATIC, to be
    absolutely DEAD WRONG.

    FRAWRESS VICTORY!

Is it possible that the Rockets are finally starting to believe in
    themselves???

If that is what we are seeing happening, the rest of the league
    better run for cover!

Xenogears must lead a sad sad life.

As much as he wants to defend himself from a YOF label, he cant help but post, over and over again about the team missing a wide open Yao and posting about how Clutch is out to get him.

Come on Xenogears. Its not like Clutch didnt state the obvious. Get over it. ;)

Xenogears: we had a 15point lead with 2:00 min left, I'm thinking JVG wanted the guys to kill the clock...thats why Mobley was holding the ball with his back turned to Yao. I'd buy a Yao poster from you and hang it on my wall and worship it if you would shut up about Yao for one game and enjoy a victory.

I think he was ready to, and then Minny got it down to 13 in the 4th. Better to be safe than sorry. Minny is a strong offensive club and had our scrubs been in there, I am sure they could come close to making up a 13 pt deficit in 3 mins.

As the game was winding down I kept on saying keep the lead at over 20 by the 6 min. mark and Saunders will pull his starters. He didn't and they got it down to 15 with about 3 min. to go. I've been watching this T-Wolves team and they can score a lot in a very short time. JVG realized that and wanted to make sure that Saunders conceded before pulling out the Rox started.

does mark jackson's 10 day contengency start when he gets put in or from the day he is signed? i was hoping to see him today. francis said despite the heavy sweating, mark really impressed him in the previous workout.

do we get to see him in memphis or new york?!

did you see the sparkles in his eyes while watching the game today? hes really excited about playing for us. i think he is really going to push himself so that he can be the best he can be.

Great game. One of the best games of the year so far. Everyone played hard nosed D and attacked the basket. Still too many TO's by Francis IMO.

The Memphis game should be very interesting. I can't wait.

The scary thing of this win is Cato. If he can score 5/7, he is not a offensive liability.

What are u talking about it? I've never tried to defend myself from a YOF label and freely admit that. I even used that post by Clutch about YOFs and me being the leading example as my signature, so everyone would know, but Clutch deleted it after a few hours so I guess he didn't want me to quote him in my sig. Also I don't want to get into comparisons of lives here, but look at your own post total and compare it to mine.

This is the best game Houston plays for the whole season. The game against the lakers on Christmas was probably a second. However, we have to give credit to the total domination of the top team in the toughest division. We were sizzling on both end of the floor.

Man this game was a little too easy. Kinda eerie (sp?).
What are we like 7-0 in nationally televised games since last year?
    haha.

    I'm efficient.

And I take joy out of being a Rockets fan and not having my days ruined because I think Yao's not getting enough shots.

That means my life is quite swell.

    ;)
