Yeah, but the Rockets also all said that team with Harden/Parsons/Lin was a tight knit group that had each other's back. Chemistry is fine, but talent wins titles. I'm comfortable in the leadership abilities of CP3 (and yes, Harden, too) and believe they'll build a community out of whatever players Morey brings in. That said, I would HATE to lose Tucker. Much more that Ariza or Luc.
Regardless, that's not gonna happen...while that contract isn't exactly good, Johnson is a solid starter, there's no way they swap him for Knight (who has negative value, not even neutral), i actually think they wouldn't even trade him for Knight and a 1st.
It is indeed not easy to find a player like you described. However I have one candidate for such a role, Jimmy Butler.
Lol the Burt Steele trolling is hilarious Some of you must have really let him know how butt hurt you were and now he's just having fun with you
Butler had one of the highest 3 point field goal percentages in the league on open corner 3’s... plus he goes to the line a lot.. he would fit the Rockets well offensively and exceptionally well on defense.
Tell that to LeBron, the most dominate player in the league who has essentially given up on winning another championship. Not because he can't, but because he's unwilling to be coached.
Do you think he'd accept a role of just being a 3 and D guy? I'm pretty sure he wants to be "the guy" which is why Houston has never been on any of his lists.
K. I could use a wojbomb. At this point, I don't care if it's Houston, Miami, or whomever else, I just want it over.
