The last thing that the Republicans want is the Democrats to take the Senate and sit on a Trump nomination for two years until the next Presidential election.

He lied on a lot of issues. I know he lied about not watching Ford's testimony. He lied in his Fox interview. He lied about the law/drinking age, he lied when he was appointed to the Court of Appeals about his involvement in the post 9/11 detention practices, he lied about the 2003 memo, he lied to congress........ but none of it matters because this is politics.

 

I'm not sure we will ever know. But yes, I think that's possible. Look at the derangement of the protestors in the hearings and in the halls. These are not mentally stable people. I believe it's quite possible that Democratic/Leftist organizations with a lot of money secretly wave it around, say "who wants to join the Me-Too movement for cash and prizes?"

Women who are down on their luck, are mentally unstable, and subscribe to leftist ideology then become the witting or unwitting pawns of those who seek to advance and fund such efforts.

I can't prove it obviously, but it seems to be quite plausible and likely, given what we have been seeing. And, isn't that what Lindsey Graham was essentially saying yesterday?

I should add that I think that the Me Too movement is essentially a money and power grab, and little else. So yes, I think it's quite possible.

Have you ever noticed it's always men who say they are surprised at the sheer volume and amount of claims that fall under the #metoo movement? Women seem to say of course that is the way it has been. Even ones that disagree with the movement, come with "boys just being boys" excuse.

Women are the ones that experience it. They are generally more accepting of the claims than men. They have experience. It makes sense to listen to them on the issue.
